The woman made her way to a Cleveland-bound flight that took off before the lockdown went into effect according to WCBS.

She was determined not to be a threat but the TSA is left to investigate how she got past the screening process.

The lockdown was lifted by noon but the incident triggered a day of delays at all the area airports compounded by approaching thunderstorms.

EARLIER SECURITY SLIP UP

The first incident involved an oversize piece of luggage that was not inspected properly around 6:30AM but was still loaded onto a United flight according to WABC TV. The bag was recovered by TSA and a bomb squad unit by 9:30AM.
