This LA road rage video is a lesson for NJ

New Jersey is no stranger to road rage. In fact TheStreet.com did a ranking a few years back of the states with the worst road rage and we came in number 8. Which is why I'm sharing this non-Jersey video. It's from the Los Angeles area. In the video above, you'll see a dashcam video that captures one of the ugliest examples of how road rage can escalate in the blink of an eye.

We don't know what set off the motorcyclist, but watch as he speeds up to a car in front of him and kicks it. The driver of the car no doubt confused and startled reacts, then loses control, overcorrects, and what happens next is shocking.

Here in New Jersey there seems to be no end to road rage incidents. The state police have a #77 system to report aggressive drivers. Two years ago Governor Christie signed a law making aggressive driving education part of our licensing process. Road rage is no joke in Jersey. So please show this video to your kids and anyone who loses their cool too often behind the wheel. Maybe it will help.
