The J Lo Fiat Commercial…Is She Believable?

The folks at Fiat must have spent a good amount of money to convey the image that Jeniffer Lopez still has "street cred".

After all, she did grow up in the "rough and tumble" South Bronx...didn't she?

Well no, not really.

She did grow up in the working class neighborhood of Castle Hill, and attended Catholic Schools, and while that would give you some "street cred", it's still not the amount that the commercial conveys.

Actually it's laughable.....the commercial, not the car!

There she is, dodging the "el" posts, passing kids diving under a "johnny pump", and eventually parking in front of a run-down apartment building.

Really?

No. In fact, were that to have been a "real" slice of life, she'd have ditched the car in a Manhattan garage, and jumped on the number 6 to Zerega Ave!

Just sayin'!
