Spadea’s first pitch — Was it a strike?
It was a strike. Or so it seemed from my perspective from the mound!
And from the perspective of Somerset Patriots owner and friend of the show, Steve Kalafer. Ok, maybe a little outside.
But I returned to the field for the Atlantic League All Star Game at TD Bank Ballpark for a ceremonial first pitch. I had a blast. Not only sending the ball over the plate (mostly) but getting to eat the new "Jersey Burger" live on camera in front of a packed stadium.
What a night for baseball. Great crowd, talented players, fun game, friendly staff, outstanding team owner. See you soon at game this summer!
