South Jersey couple robbed at gunpoint in apartment, police say

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP — Two armed men stole cash and electronics during a home invasion early Tuesday.

Police said the men forced their way into an apartment at the Polo Ridge Apartment complex on Route 130, located south of the New Jersey Turnpike-Pennsylvania Turnpike Extension, around 4:20 a.m. The pair left the scene in a dark colored SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban or Yukon.

One suspect was described as standing approximately 5-foot-11 with a skinny build, in his late teens or early 20s, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt. The other suspect had a similar build but was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a different colored hood.

One of the suspects may have the street name of “LB,” according to police.
