San Francisco Transit police are facing a lawsuit for allegedly using excessive force on a drunken woman last year. The drunken woman, Megan Sheehan, is visibly intoxicated and admits to that. The police are seen taking Sheehan into custody and at one point she turns around and it looks as if she is struggling with the transit officer that is holding her.

At the point where Sheehan struggles with the officer, the officers take her to the ground. Is this considered excessive when she is struggling? Watch the video below and let us know if you think that this is excessive or if this was brought on by her struggling with the arresting transit officer?

What's your opinion? Do you think this was excessive force or was this brought on by her intoxication?
