An overturned tractor truck on Route 95 in Mercer County closed down a part of the highway Thursday morning.

New Jersey State Police say a truck hauling a load of scrap metal overturned around 9:05 a.m. just before exit No. 7 (Route 206) on the northbound side in Lawrence Township. The road was reopened around 12:30 p.m.

An overhead picture of the scene shows a truck on its side with its load of scrap metal on the road.

New Jersey Fast Traffic's Jill Myra reports there was also a fuel spill involved with the incident. There were also rubbernecking delays on the southbound side, which is unaffected by the spill.

The ramps from Route 206 onto northbound Route 95 were also closed.

Police said the driver of the truck was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries and that no other vehicles were involved with the incident.
