Route 206 reopens in Hillsborough ahead of Friday rush hour

Route 206 reopened in Hillsborough Friday afternoon firefighters continued to put out a massive warehouse blaze.

The roadway, which passes in front of an industrial park where flames erupted more than 24 hours ago, was closed for most of the day as firefighters ran lines across the highway.

Mayor Frank DelCore said weekend activities at Hillsborough Schools would continue as scheduled. Schools closed Friday as thick smoke continued to move from the site.

Firefighters from more 30 communities helped Hillsborough crews put out the flames on Friday and were expected to remain on scene through much of the weekend, if not beyond.
