
Roofer falls to his death in Piscataway
PISCATAWAY — A roofer fell 60 feet to his death at a construction site on Sunday morning.
The 20-year-old man was working on a warehouse project at 171 River Road in Piscataway, according to a release from Piscataway Police, who did not disclose his identity.
A High Wind Advisory was in effect on Sunday in every New Jersey county with winds gusting to 45-50 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
According to the MyCentralJersey the property is owned by the Rockefeller Group which is building a 2.4 million square foot warehouse for industrial distribution and light manufacturing.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating the man's death.
