Clifton police say the men robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint around 3 p.m. Thursday and ran to a La Quinta Inn. Occupants from both the hotel and an attached restaurant were evacuated.

Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik says the suspects were apprehended after nearly four hours of searching. They were all arrested in different parts of the hotel.

A police dog bit one of the suspects, who suffered minor injuries.

Authorities didn't immediately identify the suspects. It's unclear what they'll be charged with.
