Pakistan Man Arrested For Cannibalism

It seems like there are more cannibal stories than ever making the rounds; this one from Pakistan is particularly grim. CNN is reporting that two brothers who had been detained previously for cannibalism were apprehended again.

You might notice I didn’t say “arrested” since apparently Pakistan has no specific law against cannibalism. The previous encounter resulted in charges of desecrating a body since they dragged it out of a cemetery to make their dinner.

The brothers served two years apiece in jail. This time, a neighbor reported a terrible smell from their home; authorities investigated and found an infant’s skull next to the stove; it reportedly looked to be only five days old. According to police, both men have confessed to eating the infant.
