The governor has spent the past two-plus weeks consumed with the storm and its aftermath.

At a press briefing at the Statehouse on Tuesday, Christie offered no timetable for a decision beyond saying he'll give the 2013 race some serious thought soon.

The governor has been widely praised for his handling of the devastating storm.

No one has announced a challenge to the governor, though several Democrats including Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Sen. Barbara Buono and Assembly Majority Leader Lou Greenwald are said to be among the potential contenders for their party's nomination.
