PAULSBORO — In April of last year a Paulsboro man was found in the parking lot of a convenience store having been shot in the chest with his watch, cell phone, and cash taken from him. Since that time, three people, including a brother and sister have been arrested and face charges from that incident.

Last month Renae Scruggs, 34, of Paulsboro was arrested and charged with attempted murder, robbery, carjacking, conspiracy to commit robbery, and conspiracy to commit carjacking. Her brother, Donnell Scruggs, 36, of Glassboro, was arrested on Wednesday on the same charges.

Ryan K. Williams, 38, of Paulsboro also faces charges from the incident, including attempted murder, robbery, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and aggravated assault.

Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office Spokesman Bernie Weisenfeld said the Scruggs siblings are being held without bail while Williams is being held on $750,000 bail.
