NJ Transit Pascack Valley Line service resumes
PARK RIDGE (AP) — Trains are rolling again on New Jersey Transit's Pascack Valley Line after service was suspended for more than three hours.
NJ Transit spokeswoman Courtney Carroll says a Hoboken-bound train, with 20 passengers aboard, struck and killed a woman who was lying on the tracks near Park Ridge around 5:30 a.m. Friday.
Service resumed at 8:51 a.m. when a train left from Spring Valley, New York.
The victim's name has not been released.
