NJ State Patrol Nabs Left Lane ‘Hanger’ But Doesn’t Give Him a Ticket – Should He Have? [POLL/VIDEO/NSFW]

It’s widely known here that you stay to the right except to pass.

Some drivers, obviously, haven’t gotten the message.

Take for instance this one driver in the left lane, presumably on Route 80, lollygagging with, of all things, a state patrol car tailing him.

Common sense would have dictated at that point to make whatever effort you can to move to the right.

But no. Said driver remains oblivious to all around him…including the state patrol tailing him.

Until the cop turns the lights and siren on and forces the left lane offender to move over. At which point, I’m thinking the driver is about to get a ticket.

A ticket that, according to this, would have cost at least 100 dollars.

But no – the cop did the driver a “solid” and merely went on his merry way.

It’s good to see someone abusing the left lane get pulled over, but would it have been better had the driver gotten a ticket to boot!

Should the state patrolman in the video have given the left lane “dick” a ticket for driving too slow in the left lane?
