
NJ convenience store sold $1M Powerball ticket, jackpot grows to $255M
OAKHURST — A New Jersey convenience store sold a $1 million, second-prize Powerball lottery ticket that matched five white balls Saturday's drawing.
If the ticket — purchased at the American Way Food Store on Route 35 in Oakhurst — had been bought with the Power Play Multiplier option, it would have been worth $2,000,000, according to the state Lottery.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, Feb. 4 drawing were: 06, 13, 16, 17 and 52. The Red Power Ball number was 25. The multiplier number was 03.
According to the Lottery, there were 46,195 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $249,971 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300 as well.
The Powerball jackpot rolls to $255,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, Feb 8 at 10:59 pm.
