Newark Aiport’s Water Turns Brown

Travelers at Newark Liberty International Airport are being urged to use bottled water after an apparent problem with the water supply.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey issued an alert at about 1:30 p.m.

The alert said that brown-colored water was coming into the airport's terminals and other buildings from public utility sources.

It wasn't immediately known what caused the discoloration or where it originated from.
