PRINCETON — A sketch has been released of a man police believe is responsible for the a groping incident — the latest of several over the last few years — that involved a minor.

A minor was grabbed in the buttocks by a man who came up from behind her on Aug. 10 as she walked eastbound on Mercer Street around 9:10 a.m., according to Princeton Police.

The minor pushed her assailant away and ran off.

Princeton Police Lt. Chris Morgan did not directly connect the Mercer Street incident with a series of other gropings in Princeton going back to 2014. He pointed out that the other incidents took place on the opposite side of the township.

But the newly released sketch looks similar one released in April following another groping incident at Moore and Spruce Streets.

The minor described her assailant as a Hispanic male approximately 30 to 40 years of age, standing approximately 5 feet and 5 inches, with a short black or brown hair short, a medium to stocky build, and weighing approximately 200 pounds .

Police asked anyone with information about this incident including witnesses should call 609-921-2100 ext. 1834
