The holiday season is all about tradition, and luckily, there's no shortage of options in New Jersey.

The top 10 list was tough to narrow down, but we made it a priority to highlight places of all sizes.

Eight counties are mentioned, so maybe venture to more than one destination to get a feel for what the Garden State has to offer.

One downtown launches some holiday magic as soon as today, Nov. 22. If that's too soon for your family, consider some of the later, days-long events.
