McDonald’s new breakfast biscuit has honey brown butter and we’re not mad about it

Our morning routine just got a sweet upgrade with a new addition to McDonald’s menu.

The popular fast food chain has announced that they have released a new breakfast item that perfectly marries savory and sweet flavors, this just a week or so after rolling out their new Caesar Sauce.

McDonald's Debuts Honey Brown Butter BEC Biscuit

For a limited time, McDonald’s restaurants across the Garden State are introducing the Honey Brown Butter Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit. While they’re available now, there was no end date noted in the press release.

The sandwich is described as "the perfect spin on the classic bacon egg and cheese, taking those ingredients and nestling them between two freshly baked biscuits with creamy, toasty Honey Brown Butter."

Personally, I’m a sucker for a toasted biscuit, so the bonus of a honey brown butter is *chef’s kiss* to me. Add in bacon, egg, and cheese? Now it’s a party.

Some mornings call for something sweet. Others demand something savory. Why not enjoy both?

The biscuit sandwich won’t be around forever so make sure not to hit ‘snooze’ on trying it out.
