A Jefferson man was rescued from his burning home by a neighbor on Thursday.

NJ Advance Media reported the 53-year-old man, who identity was not released by police, was treated for scarring and burns and two firefighters suffered minor injuries.

 The fire is under investigation by the Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the Sheriff's Office.
