HILLSDALE — Authorities say a man struck and injured by an NJ Transit train was arrested after he told police that he had a bomb.
Jordan Konikoff suffered minor facial injuries in the accident that occurred around 8:20 p.m. Friday at the Hillsdale station. He then allegedly made the bomb threat, but police soon determined his claims were not credible.
The 30-year-old Westwood man has been charged with making terroristic threats, use of terroristic threats, interfering with transportation and defiant trespass. A telephone number for him could not be located Saturday and it wasn't known if he's retained a lawyer.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
