A jury found 28-year-old Brandon Dixon guilty of felony murder, robbery and desecrating human remains in the slaying of Charles Bauer in January 2013.

Prosecutors say Dixon and another defendant lured Bauer to a vacant home by posing as a female on social media and planned to rob him once he got there. Authorities say Dixon subdued him with a "sleeper hold" that killed him.

Twenty-two-year-old Ryan Sweet pleaded guilty in the case last year and is set to be sentenced to 17 years in prison later this week.

Dixon faces the possibility of life behind bars when he's sentenced on May 26.
