A New York City man charged in the beating death of another man at an Atlantic City bus garage on Christmas Eve has had his bail reduced from $500,000 to $300,000.

But even if 39-year-old Yu Zhu can post his new bail amount, he can't be freed until a bail source hearing is held.

Zhu faces aggravated manslaughter charges stemming from the attack on 52-year-old Cheng Jain Lin of New York City. Atlantic County prosecutors say Zhu allegedly struck Lin outside the Caesar's Hotel bus garage, causing Lin to fall and hit his head on the ground. Lin died a few days later, and an autopsy determined that he died from complications of his head injuries.

It's not known what sparked the altercation.
