The surveillance video shows the man entering the store on the Boulevard in Kenilworth on October 15 and asking for an ice cream sample. He then pulls a semi-automatic handgun on the woman and they walk towards the cash register where she and the store's manager fill a paper bag with cash according to Union County Crime Stoppers.

The Union County Prosecutor's Office has a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the robber reports the Star Ledger.

The thief then puts his gun to the pregnant woman's head as he demands more cash. The manager does not have access to the store's safe and the increasingly nervous robber leaves the store, pointing the gun at a customer entering the store who calls 9-1-1.

The suspect got into a white car waiting down the block and drove off.

The man is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s with a husky build wearing a black baseball cap with a yellow logo. Police are concerned that the man will attempt another robbery.

Anyone with information about the holdup should contact Kenilworth Police at (908)-276-5001 or Union County Crime Stoppers at 908-654-TIPS (8477).
