Judi dances across her favorite place in Jersey

While thinking about where to do my next "Dancing across New Jersey" video, it occurred to me that it's been a long time since I posted anything about my favorite place in New Jersey, Long Branch's Pier Village.

Maybe I take it for granted since I'm a Long Branch resident, but I really shouldn't. It's something that all New Jerseyans need to see and enjoy.

If you've never been there, now is the time to go. Although Pier Village is lovely year-round, you have a couple more weeks to enjoy the special programming they have there in the summer.

The outdoor movies, events and activities at its Festival Plaza are the best thing that ever happened to Long Branch and arguably to the entire Monmouth County. You can check out all the cool stuff it has to offer at http://piervillagenj.com.

Pier Village itself is an absolute gem and has done so much not only to boost the economy of our town but also to allow people to appreciate what a great place long branch is, both to live in and to visit.

There's a real vacation vibe to Pier Village, and the restaurants ,shopping, and the beach are all beautiful. Spending time there on a Sunday evening (or any evening, for that matter) will definitely make you want to get up and dance.
