Last night was Bruce Springsteen show number 13 for me, and I think it may have been the best one yet. We managed to make our way into the pit, about ten feet from the stage, after an arduous lottery process. It was all worth it though, as Bruce Springsteen & The E Street band rocked the Prudential Center for over three hours.

Hearing the full album performance of The River was something any fan in attendance will never forget. The range of emotions captured in the album and live performance is extraordinary. He followed it up with seven randomly selected songs and a hit filled encore.

Aside from material from The River, here are the songs the Newark crowd was lucky enough to see:

"Lonesome Day"
"Working on the Highway"
"Atlantic City"
"Human Touch"
"Wrecking Ball"
"The Rising"
"Thunder Road"

Encore:
"Badlands"
"Born to Run"
"Dancing in the Dark"
"Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)"
"Shout"

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will be back in the area again on The River Tour Feb. 12 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and Apr. 23 and 25 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The re-scheduled Madison Square Garden concert will take place Mar. 28. If you have the opportunity to go, go!
