Donnie Kehr who played loan shark Norm Waxman in the movie "Jersey Boys" called my show last night and talked about the role he created which is a composite of a few people. Kehr, the only actor to make the movie from the original La Jolla playhouse where the play premiered, also spoke of what it was like working with director Clint Eastwood and the funny way Eastwood was able to get through to Christopher Walken who plays gangster Gyp DeCarlo on a scene.

Asked if he gave any advice to Walken on the De arlo role which he also played at La Jolla, Kerr said “No Way! He’s f***ing Christopher Walken!”
