A grand jury in U.S. District Court in Trenton brought additional charges Thursday against Philadelphia residents Karl Venord, Samuel Verrier and Varian Charles, and Haverstraw, N.Y. resident Wilbur Senat.

U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman says the four are accused of forcing the teen to have relations with multiple people and using her in an unsuccessful attempt to blackmail another man.

All four have been detained since their arrests in July 2013 and could face life in prison if convicted on the charges.

It was not known if any of the four men had retained an attorney.
