A former New Jersey man confessed to Cary, N.C. police to killing his mother and girlfriend, leaving his mother's body in a bathtub for a week and hopes he is forgiven by Jesus.

WRAL TV reported Brandon Lee, 34, was charged with two counts of murder in December for the deaths of Christa Lee, 58, and Krystal Juell Hylton, 28 after calling 911 to confess to their deaths. He told the dispatcher that he strangled his mother the week before at his apartment because she wanted to kill herself and didn't want her to do that because "it's a unforgivable sin." She was also trying to kill him, Lee told the dispatcher.

The day before he called 911, he said he killed Hylton at her home because she was trying to end their relationship and she was addicted to drugs. He told the dispatcher Hylton's body was on the floor in front of him and he had been drinking ever since "trying to get up enough nerve to turn myself in." Lee was also worried about Hylton's dog who would be alone once he was apprehended.

NJ Advance Media reported that Brandon had lived in Morristown and New Brunswick before moving to Cary which is located just outside of Raleigh. Christa, according to her obituary, was from Morristown and served in the military and was married.

At his arraignment he asked the judge to "give me the chair or whatever" and asked for a court-appointed judge.
