As part of our "Salute to Seniors" feature, we at NJ 101.5, along with our sponsorship partner, American Senior Magazine, ask our listeners to nominate a very special senior who is giving back to the New Jersey "community" at large — someone who has gone above and beyond to serve his or her community.

There is not going to be enough room on this page to list the many worthwhile organization’s that this weeks nominee, Judith Arnold, has volunteered for over the years but here is a small sampling:

  • Delaware Valley Raritan Girl Scout Council
  • East Windsor Heightstown League of Women Voters
  • The National Junior Tennis and Learning of Trenton
  • Princeton tennis program
  • UIH Family Partners
  • Princeton Community Works
  • Anchor House
  • The Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce
  • The East Windsor Zoning Board, and the list goes on

She’s received numerous awards and recognition for her dedication to community service.
And to top it all off, she is a breast cancer survivor who has given freely of her time to various cancer organizations. For example, She is currently a volunteer and fundraiser at the American Cancer Society “making strides of Central New Jersey” program, to raise awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer.

The word “dynamic” does not begin to describe Judith Arnold, and that’s why and she is our super senior nominee this week! Congrats, Judith!

Tell us about your senior below. Submissions will be accepted through Nov. 21. Individual seniors will be selected by our staff and featured on-air and online once a week starting Sept. 4.

If your senior is chosen, he or she will be invited to New Jersey 101.5 for an upcoming commercial and invited to a luncheon at the the station.
