Drunk Trenton man asks 11-year-old son to drive him home

Here’s a heart warming tale of father-son bonding that’s going to be told on a therapist’s couch for years to come. According to NJ.com, a Trenton man got so drunk that he forgot where he lived, so he pulled over and told his 11 year old son to drive them home.

The boy wisely called his grandmother instead and she came to pick the boy up. She also called the cops who arranged for an ambulance to take the obviously drunk father to the hospital where his bac was indeed found to be over the limit. He was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.
