Dennis attends the Make-A-Wish Gala to honor CareOne

Thursday night I had the honor of being a guest of one of our sponsors at the Make-A-Wish Gala at the Samuel & Josephine Plumeri Wishing Place, also known as "The Castle" in Monroe.

CareOne was being honored for their work in raising funds to make so many wishes come true for children in New Jersey with life threatening illnesses. They invited me to be a part of this special night.

So many of us admire the tireless work and endless support from so many people around the state and the country who are involved in making these children's dreams come true.

Seeing first hand what goes on in that castle and the work behind doing what they do for these kids and their families was humbling and heartwarming.

I had the great pleasure of meeting the President and CEO of Make-A-Wish New Jersey Tom Weatherall, whose energy and enthusiasm is one of the reasons the organization is such a great success in our state.

The castle has been open since 2011 and is truly one of the most special places in New Jersey and is the only one of it's kind out of the 62 chapters nationwide.

It should be a great source of pride for us and another great reason to give whatever you can to this great organization doing amazing things every day.
