In unexpected testimony at his trial Monday, Craig Arno said he was waiting for his girlfriend Jessica Kisby to return from an errand to collect money from someone on the night 47-year-old Martin Caballero of North Bergen was killed.

Arno testified Kisby returned with a new white Lincoln SUV, saying she had a problem and needed to get rid of the car. Arno says he agreed to burn it for her, but had nothing to do with a killing.

Kisby pleaded guilty to murder in February and testified against Arno earlier Monday.

Prosecutors say the pair kidnapped Caballero from the parking garage of the Trump Taj Mahal.
