This is just hysterical. Someone came up with the idea hey, let's dig up old vintage print ads with the creepiest images of children we can find. These definitely have a what-the-hell-were-they-thinking vibe about them. I'd like to think advertising/marketing has learned a lot over the years. But who knows what today's ads will look like 50 years from now?
