Officials say a traveler going through security at Newark Liberty International Airport this week had a small knife made to look like a credit card in their wallet.

The Transportation Security Administration says its officers discovered the knife on Tuesday morning. It was detected by an X-ray machine at a security checkpoint in Terminal A.

The blade folded into a handle that was the size and shape of a credit card and was sandwiched between other credit cards in the wallet.

The TSA says airport operations weren't disrupted. The agency didn't say where the knife's owner was traveling to or whether the person was detained.
