An accident closed down the Burlington Bristol Bridge on Monday morning.

Burlington County Bridge Commission Police said the accident involved two tractor trailers on the Pennsylvania side at the toll plaza. They were awaiting a tow truck to remove one of the trucks off the bridge before it could be reopened.

At 5:47 a.m., police issued an alert saying the bridge was closed "until further notice."

The two-lane bridge spans the Delaware River between Burlington and Bristol, Pennsylvania.
