MANSFIELD — A boil water advisory is in effect for one Burlington County municipality due to a loss of water pressure.

According to an alert on New Jersey American Water's website, the boil water advisory impacts Mansfield residents, and went into effect Wednesday at 5:42 p.m.

There's no evidence of contamination, according to the company's website alert.

The loss of water pressure was caused by a water main break off Route 206 on Wednesday, according to a report by the Burlington County Times.

New Jersey American Water said it's standard procedure to issue a boil water advisory whenever there's a loss of pressure in their water mains.
