In Bergen County New Jersey, some people are more interested in adding arrests to their Facebook page then they are friends.  As the Bergen County Sheriff's Office has now fully embraced social media, in an ongoing effort to capture fugitives wanted by the county. They've dubbed the initiative "Facecrook".

"Facecrook" features the names, photos and last locations of fugitives wanted by Bergen County, where users can send anonymous tips to help take people off the streets who are responsible for everything from failure to pay child support to committing murder.

The idea was the brainchild of Inspector Mickey Bradley about a year ago. He bought the Facecrook address for a mere $17.

Concerned citizens using the site must only agree to not take the law into their own hands when it comes to possible apprehension or intimidation of suspected criminals.

Who knows, maybe that $17 investment could go futher than anone could have ever imagined .
