Garden State dignitaries took over much of today's conversation. From rants on New Jersey Assemblyman Michael Patrick Carroll's bill to legalize underage drinking, our very own Jersey girl -- Gianna Isabella delivering one of the best performances on American Idol and even staring a movement to rename the Trenton Mercer Airport. Today's show was one to remember.

It's Time to Legalize Drinking Age to 18

Around the world many places like London allow my daughter to consume liquor at 18 years old. Why not New Jersey? On today’s show, I discussed our double standard for allowing individuals to go to war, but denying them the right to order a drink. One New Jersey assemblyman Michael Patrick Carroll is looking to pass a bill to legalize the drinking age to 21.

"If you are old enough to marry and go to war, you should be able to drink," one caller stated. Regardless of the drinking age, people under the age of 21 find a way to consume liquor. The idea of drunk driving is absurd, considering we have Uber. Uber is one of the reasons that drunk drive will decrease in the future. Here more of my rant on legalizing the age of drinking to 18 below.

Brenda K Starr: "Listening to my daughter perform last night was amazing."

Jackson's fifteen year-old rising star, Gianna Isabella is currently in Fox's American Idol Top 14. Gianna's  performance last night was absolutely killer! Even Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez, said Gianna belongs in the top 10.

Her mom, pop singer, Brenda K Starr joined us to tell us more about Gianna's performance last night.

"Listening to my daughter perform last night was amazing. She went in so positive. Gianna told me if I don't make it in to any of the seats -- I am going to sing like it is my last time singing on Idol. Gianna sleeps breathes and dreams music. We are beyond proud," stated Brenda K Starr. To hear the performance and more watch the clip below.

Let's start a movement to name Trenton Airport after Supreme Court Antonin Scalia

I think it’s time for the Garden State to honor Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia by renaming the Trenton Mercer Airport after him. Scalia, had a huge impact for three decades on the government's structure. We are a great state with great minds, Scalia was one of those minds. Listen to more of my ideas on why Scalia should be memorialized with the Trenton Mercer Airport.
