Join Big Joe Henry on Sunday, October 15th as he broadcasts LIVE from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Samuel & Josephine Plumeri Wishing Place located at 1347 Perrineville Road in Monroe Township for Make-A-Wish New Jersey’s Annual Walk for Wishes. Walk or roll around the beautiful grounds of the “castle” in this non-competitive walking course. Also, enjoy kids activities, refreshments, music, and more! Registration starts at 9:00 AM. The Walk starts at 10:00 AM. Walk for Wishes is a celebration of over 9,000 wishes granted for children by Make-A-Wish New Jersey, while raising funds to support the wishes taking place this fall!

ATLANTIC COUNTY


For one weekend a year, we celebrate our Italian heritage with an annual Italian Festival. With the sounds of traditional music, plus a spread of local Italian food, we're ready to celebrate in true form! BERGEN COUNTY


Over 100 visual artists in this juried exhibition which will highlight diverse forms of artistic expression from the Bergen County arts community. Five Juried categories: Acrylics/Oils; Drawings/Prints/Pastels; Mixed Media; Watercolors; and Photography (Digital & Traditional). Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place and Honorable Mention in each category. Additionally, a $500 prize will be awarded to the artist judged overall "Best in Show". Doc Lane & Loose Change will provide live music in a special concert from 12:30 - 3:30 pm Audience chairs will be available on a first come-first serve basis. Van Saun County Park is a wheelchair accessible site and large print programs will be available. Please contact the Division by September 19th if additional accommodations are needed. CAPE MAY COUNTY


Friday night features a Nifty '50s Dance Party at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 6:30 - 10:30 pm. Tickets are $16 plus tax per person. A FREE street fair will take place at Fox Park in Wildwood on Saturday from 11 am - 5 pm featuring classic cars, food and craft vendors, a Doo Wop Bus Tour, and live entertainment. Saturday night features a star-studded concert in the Wildwoods Convention Center at 7 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm) featuring Frankie Avalon, The Duprees, Danny & The Juniors, and The Ladies of Shake, Rattle 'n Roll.

PASSAIC COUNTY


The Downtown Clifton Special Improvement District is holding its Semi Annual Street Fair. The event will be held along Main Ave. from Washington Ave. to Madison Ave. from 10 am - 5 pm. We would like to invite local civic and non-profit organizations and merchants to become a part of this event. The street will be transformed into a giant town block party. There will be merchandise vendors, crafters, kiddie rides, great food, pony rides, and live music all day. New this year, I have DJ Nick @ Nite and he will be playing most of the day and will located by Union and Main. We also have DJ Aziz at Madison that will also be playing most of the day. We are excited to announce the County's first ever Oktoberfest. Enjoy the food and heritage of Germany, as well as food from cultures that make Passaic County so diverse. No Oktoberfest would be complete without quality beer. SALEM COUNTY


Come celebrate the fall harvest of pumpkins at the 14th annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show to held at the Salem County Fairgrounds. This three day fall festival is packed full of family fun and entertainment. Come listen to the tale of Sleepy Hallow and be thrilled by the arrival of the Headless Horsemen. Over 200 artists, craftsmen, networking and home improvement vendors participate.  The Pumpkin Show features a Fall Festival of Trees, Little Miss & Miss Pumpkin Pageant, colorful scarecrows, live bands, amusement rides, food Court,  hayrides, pumpkin food contest, wine sampling, Halloween Costume Contest, trick or treating and Dog Parade. The giant pumpkin tower holds close to 500 pumpkins and is showcase as the center piece of the event. Saturday men and women compete for cash and prize during the Pumpkin Toss.  The first 200 kids each day receive a free pumpkin. Admission is free and parking is just $5 a carload. Pet friendly event.
