‘Wham Bam’ by Silver: Doyle’s ‘Not-So-Top-10′ playlist

Silver was a band of great promise.

The band featured Brent Midland (later of the Grateful Dead), John Batdorf (who had been with Batdorf & Rodney), and Tom Leadon (brother of the Eagles’ Bernie Leadon), but they didn’t have much of a career.

Rumor has it that the record label made them record “Wham Bam” because they felt their album lacked a hit single.   They will always have their moment in the sun, though, with “Wham Bam,” which you can listen to above.
