Should High School Athletes Be Able to Choose Where They Attend School? [POLL]

Apparently high school athletic programs assembling “Dream Teams” has become a problem in New Jersey. Assemblymen John Buirzichelli plans to introduce a bill that will make it mandatory for high school athletes to play for their district's school, if that school offers their sport. They will not be allowed to take advantage of the choice program to play at a school that potentially has a better team.

NJ Realty Transfer Fee Stirs Controversy

This is about as unsexy a topic as you can get. But if you're in the middle of a real estate transaction it can really hurt you. Governor Christie said yesterday he'd like to do away with realty transfer fees. At a town hall meeting one man in the audience told how he got hit for over $5,000 when he sold a house two weeks prior.
