LIVE EVENTS MANAGER

 

Job Responsibilities:

The Live Events Manager will be the point person for all aspects of Townsquare’s live events business and will be involved in all aspects of each show/event. This position will oversee 2 markets; Trenton and Monmouth, New Jersey. The position will report to the VP/General Manager as well as to the corporate regional Live Events Director, who is based in Connecticut.

The position will be responsible for the following:

• Primary point of contact and leadership for each event, responsible for creating and driving revenue, and managing expenses

• Deep familiarity with our products, including broadcasting, commerce, and digital marketing assets

• Lead role on in-house planning and logistics for each event: creating and managing timelines and assigning responsibilities among local staff

• Working with local sales force to drive vendor solicitation, booth sales, and sponsorship sales

• Working with local programming team to drive and promote ticket sales – responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans for each major event

• Logistics management, including travel and catering

• Availability to work weekends as needed

• New business development – sourcing, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for organic growth or through acquisition of existing live event properties

• Idea generation and implementation

Job Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess one or more of the following:

• 5-8 years of experience in live event production (either from an agency, venue, production company, or tour/concert promoter)

• Deep familiarity with MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

• Basic financial accounting skills (to build event by event pro forma financials)

• Existing relationships with local agencies and venues

• Familiarity with cost management and show settlement procedures

• Some production oversight experience (staging, sound & lights, pipe & drape)

• Eagerness to work hard, learn, and be part of a growing and fast-moving live events team with upward mobility for successful employees

LIVE EVENTS COORDINATOR

Job Responsibilities:

Townsquare Media Trenton is looking for a Live Events Coordinator to work out of their Ewing, New Jersey office. The Live Events Coordinator will be involved in all aspects of each show/event in the Trenton market and report into the Live Events Manager. The position will be responsible for the following:

• Coordinate logistics for each event and creating timelines and assigning responsibilities for day of event procedures

• Working with the Live Events Manager to manage event budget

• Working with local programming team to drive and promote ticket sales – responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans for each major event

• Deep familiarity with [Market] and our products, including broadcasting, commerce, and digital marketing assets

• Working with local sales force to drive vendor solicitation, booth sales, and sponsorship sales and coordinate sponsorship fulfillment on-site

• Availability to work weekends as needed

• Idea generation and implementation

The position will report to the Live Events Manager of Trenton/Shore, but will also work extensively with the GMs of each market and the corporate live events team, based in Connecticut. The job is located in Ewing, New Jersey.

Job Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess one or more of the following:

• 4 years of experience in live event production (either from an agency, venue, production company, or tour/concert promoter)

MEDIA AND DIGITAL SALES EXECUTIVE

  • Create new relationships with local and regional businesses in our area
  • Inquiring and crafting advertising programs for your clients, both new and existing
  • Work with local and corporate marketing teams to develop campaign support materials
  • Responsible to accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines and overachieve annual budgets
  • Enters new customer data and other sales contract details for station clients into computer database
  • Follow accountabilities set forth by your Sales Manager to help guide you to success achieving monthly sales quotas consistently
  • Provide insight and value to executive management to shape the future of our organization

Qualifications:

DIGITAL SALES SPECIALIST

Job Details and Duties:

Townsquare Media Trenton is looking to hire two Digital Sales Specialists to join New Jersey 101.5 FM in its Ewing, New Jersey office. The Digital Sales Specialist will monetize all of our digital experiences by creating value and delivering results for our advertising partners while insuring a positive experience for consumers and overall brand. This position must have a thorough understanding of all digital products offered and act as the digital media resource and consultant to our client base.

The DSS will be accountable for all digital sales initiatives and revenue goals and will work closely with the Director of Digital Sales to create unique and valuable cross-platform programs to generate results for our clients and repeatable revenues. These digital initiatives include display, streaming, custom sites, loyalty programs, e-commerce, etc. The DSS will be expected to develop new business and meet all revenue goals as put forth by the organization.

We require strong sales abilities and interpersonal skills with the presence to enhance overall digital revenues. Three years of digital and overall sales experience necessary.
