Bound bodies of two men found in Philly river; third injured

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The bodies of two men who had been bound with duct tape, stabbed and weighed down with makeshift anchors were pulled from a river Wednesday after a third bound man, wet and also covered with stab wounds, was found wandering along a road in the dark, police said.

Police charge 2 men in fatal Philly carjacking

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Police on Monday charged two men with murder in a carjacking and subsequent crash that killed three children and critically injured their mother as they were selling fruit on a street corner for a church fundraiser.

DA: 2 more guns found at hospital shooter’s home

Philadelphia fire kills 4 kids, engulfs 10 houses

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Fire raced through a row of two-story homes in southwest Philadelphia early Saturday, killing three 4-year-olds and a baby and engulfing at least 10 houses, officials said. A woman and three other children escaped through a second-floor window.

Philly food truck explosion injures 11

A propane tank on a food truck exploded in Philadelphia Tuesday, sending a huge fireball into the sky and injuring at least 11 people, including two who suffered serious burns, police said.
