Governor Murphy is running for re-election this year and according to Michael Symons' article on nj1015.com, he's in a strong position entering the campaign. There are experts who talk about his 60%-plus job approval ratings in the polls, his dealings with other party leaders and his financial situation. Based on their opinion, you would think Phil Murphy has a chance to be the first Democrat to win reelection since Governor Byrne in 1977.
