Donald Trump won't be at the debate tonight. He took his ball and went home. He feels moderator Megyn Kelly treated him unfairly at the first debate last August in asking him about his past sexist comments among other things.

If Megyn Kelly treated him unfairly, that's for the viewing public to decide. A moderator can shine or make a fool of themselves just as a candidate can in a debate. I don't know how Donald Trump is going to take the heat of Washington D.C. or Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong-un if he can't even take the heat from Megyn Kelly. I suppose he feels he doesn't need to be at the debate. After all, he recently pointed out he could stand in the middle of a NYC street and shoot people and not lose any support. Very presidential, huh?

Nice try. Roger Ailes responded with this statement: "Megyn Kelly is an excellent journalist, and the entire network stands behind her. She will absolutely be on the debate stage on Thursday night."

So that's that. No Trump. How does our governor feel about it? "America wants a fighter who's not going to walk away from a fight but will walk into one. I think that's what they're going to conclude: What kind of judgment does this guy have that he's willing to walk away? How thin-skinned is he that he can't take any criticism? And how will that affect his ability to be the president?"

We want to hear from you.
