This question is like t-ball. What should be New Jersey's official slogan? Let the insults begin!

A bill was unanimously approved Monday by a Senate tourism committee that would formally adopt "Garden State" as its official slogan, the nickname the state has had seemingly forever.

You thought this had already been done? Think again.

You might be confused with the embarrassingly botched contest under Gov. Richard Codey who asked residents to come up with an official slogan. "New Jersey: Come See for Yourself" was the big winner, but had to be scrapped a few months later when it was discovered it had already been taken by West Virginia. Nice research, guys! So it never really happened. Now it might.

Is a simple "Garden State" good enough to be our official state slogan? I'll let you decide. But I'm sure some sarcastic minds could come up with far better.
