Wait, there’s a law? Why PA drivers have no excuse in NJ

Guess the old saying is true that you really do learn something new every day. And for New Jersey drivers, this one might be an eye-opener.

Scratch that. This might actually be an eye-opener for most drivers who are familiar with this.

But before we take a closer look, let's first point out that this isn't a knock on Pennsylvania drivers whatsoever. Much like our New York neighbors to the north, Pennsylvania drivers are also found quite frequently on New Jersey's roadways.

We're not perfect

Keep in mind that drivers from every state have their particular issues that make the rest of us look bad. Yes, we all have our driving quirks, which is especially true for New Jersey.

One example for both New York and New Jersey is that some of us may come across as aggressive drivers. We tend to move quickly and don't have time to deal with anything getting in our way.

So yes, we're not perfect either when it comes to how we navigate ourselves on the road. As for rules, all three states have their own set of laws for how you must navigate their state's highways.

More similarities than not

With that said, some of those laws and rules across the area are very similar. But when it comes to PA, one big rule, in particular, is almost identical to a law we have in New Jersey.

Even crazier is that most New Jersey drivers probably didn't even know this was actually a thing. Hence the phrase that we learn something new every day.

Again, before we get into it, just know this isn't a knock on our friends to the rest. Those behind the wheel from every state have their own issues. And yes, that includes New Jersey.
