Accidental nudity stories that will leave you laughing and cringing
In a world teeming with unexpected encounters, the topic of nudity often elicits laughter, shock, or awkwardness. Stories of accidental nudity are not only amusing, they also reveal the peculiar situations life can throw at us. In this exploration, a range of humorous and embarrassing tales will be shared, from unexpected sightings to unfortunate wardrobe malfunctions.
Unintentional Encounters
One memorable story involves a woman who found herself in a rather compromising scenario after a night out with friends. After indulging in a few too many drinks, she stumbled into her brother’s view, leaving her mortified and sowing seeds of embarrassment that would last for years. This unexpected display turned what should have been a typical evening into a lasting family anecdote.
Another eccentric tale comes from a man who witnessed an older gentleman leaving a hot tub completely nude at a local pool. The shock of seeing an elderly man in such a state stirred a mix of laughter and disbelief, encapsulating the hilarity and absurdity one can encounter. Such moments not only create lasting memories but also a trove of stories to share amid friends.
A Cautionary Tale
A more disturbing incident in Randolph, New Jersey, involved a man using a Polaroid camera to document his naked body and leaving the snapshots on women’s car windshields. Described in detail, the man left specific notes that detailed what the women were wearing at the time he photographed them, indicating he had been watching them. This necessitated a warning from the restaurant where several incidents had occurred, prompting management to increase security measures.
Humor in the Unexpected
Accidental nudity arises in all sorts of settings and yields some unique stories. Picture a family reunion; the door swings open swiftly, revealing a cousin who just stepped out of the shower, shock etching itself upon the faces of unsuspecting relatives. Or perhaps a beach day turns suddenly awkward when a simple wave throws off a swimsuit, resulting in accidental exposure for both the victim and the innocent bystanders. Such scenarios are often met with a combination of shock and laughter, embedding them deep in memory.
In sharing these experiences, it’s clear that such instances, while often embarrassing, can serve as comedic relief and a reminder of the unpredictability of life. Whether the experience is mild or mortifying, the stories born from those moments continue to amuse and resonate, reminding all that life is full of surprises.

time. It is 211 on a Monday. [Music] Who would have thought hell would really exist and that it would be in New Jersey? Screaming at people at gas stations is a New Jersey tradition. From Caucus, New Jersey. It's everybody's favorite game show. Oh, there's nothing in the world like action. The North calls this a sub, while the South calls it a hogy. The North calls this Taylor Ham, and the South calls it pork roll. Hey, you talking about Jersey? Me and my friends are from Jersey. Oh crap, there's more of them. Hey, come on. There's people from Jersey all over. Who here is from Jersey? You know the party who needs a house for the road. I can't walk home every day over by a good bridge and day cuz down the shore everything's all right. The sun shines brightly on a Jersey afternoon. their weekends on the Jersey Shore. [Music] What do you hear? What do you say? Live from New Jersey. It's Dominsky and more on New Jersey 101.5. Well, hello. Good afternoon. Like that guy with a better voice, sir. It's Jeff and Kylie. Oh, stop. I'm Jeff Deinsky. I'm Kylie Moore. How you How y'all doing? Uh phone number is 1-800283101.5. Yeah. Uh we're back with another thousand at work payday, but it is an exciting week. We've got an election coming up. Of course, I know uh Judy and EJ were just talking about that. Um I think there's a lot of people that are not decided yet. Hold on. That's what you were going to say people are excited about. Not that Thursday is going to be a $10,000 at work payday. I was about to say that next. This is another week where we have another $10,000 at work payday that is coming up on I got duped just as much as the audience on Thursday. A $10,000 at work payday. Uh Halloween is barreling down upon us. Uh # spooky season. I'm I'm sorry. # spooky season. Oh hashtag spooky season. Yeah. Yeah. That season. Well, you know, I mean, I come at this as a parent, and so I just think of this at that time of year when the only time you have to go into Spirit Halloween is on a Saturday when all the other parents have the only time that they can go into Spirit Halloween and you have to stand in that line for that uh crazy little manufactured dressing room that they have and uh and wait your turn. That's always fun, especially when your kids have autism and they don't give a crap what costume you put on them. So, yeah, Halloween bearing down upon us. I just like to watch horror movies. I wish that's all mine were. I wish it. Uh yeah, we have a lot of things to get to today, too. Speaking of spooky stuff, I'm going to be doing an article on uh this old abandoned hospital in it's not out today. Like I'm going to be writing it. Uh but uh it's going to be up this week on nj1015.com. And um and at one point today I want to talk about people that have been brave enough to go into uh abandoned places because if I if I were just a little bit braver I would go in. I don't like tetanus shots so I don't want to go in there but I would like I'm fascinated with the thought of going into all these abandoned places. You are braver than me. Oh, well, no, not really because I'm not doing it, you know, like, you know, if it weren't for like like for logistical reasons. Well, yeah. Like I don't want to slice my calf open on like some piece of rust, you know, from 1974. That's all. Whereas I'm like a dark space. I don't like that. No, I mean, yeah, like if I knew I could do it safely and the floor wouldn't cave in below me, oh heck yeah, I would go in. Like I poked around Lambertville High School before they tore it down. But, you know, # spooky season, like you said, just one of the things we're going to be uh talking about. And also, speaking of Halloween, this is making news. We'll talk about it later on. A family in New Jersey is being given a hard time by the neighborhood because they decided to make a skeleton display out of ICE arresting a Mexican. And some people seem to have a problem with that. We will we will discuss at some point. We'll get into it. We will get into it. We are quite aware of high tide which is just happening uh minutes ago and we will uh give it until 3:00 and then we will uh take calls on that as well because I mean for much of the state this nor easter it's just been a whole lot of rain and some power outages. But uh you know closer toward the shore you've got flooded roads, you've got some road closures and right now they're saying you know high tide has just hit so it's probably going to be bad again. But we will we will get to that as well. And of course, news will have us updated on the storm impacts. Oh, and this is kind of exciting to me. As dorky as this might seem, we have a new sponsor that I'm going to be telling you about, orthoj, which I'm actually Yeah, I've been looking into these guys. We'll talk about them in a couple minutes. Uh, I'm quite impressed with them, actually. All right. So, I saw something on nj1015.com written by Mike Brandt. And at first I found it confusing, but then but then I realized where he was going with the whole thing. So, where he was going with this, it was about hitting a snooze alarm, right? But he was tying it into fall and how it's like how the sunrise changes the time the sun comes up changes, right? Yeah. Yeah. So they actually did like at first I was like where's he going with this? But this isn't really about snooze alarms. It's just his article about it and you could look for that on on the station site. It reminded me of something. A lot of people and I did not know this until just a few short years ago. A lot of people instead of even using the snooze alarm, they work backwards, not forwards. And here's what I'm talking about. And I want to know who does this because I find it very odd. Like let's say you should be up at 7. You could push it to 7:20. That's where the snooze alarm would come in, right? But go the other way. You should be up at 7. So there are some people who will set their alarm at 5. And the the whole point is so that they could have the pleasure of saying to themselves, "Oh, I'm awake now, but good. I can get two more hours sleep and I will go back to sleep." and they'll go back to sleep and then the next alarm that that that they had set would be say for 5:25 and they'll wake up and they'll do the same thing and then they'll sleep until 6:00 when a third alarm goes off even though they don't have to be up until 7 and so on and so on until they creep up upon the time they're actually supposed to be getting out of bed. I know somebody who does this who is actually in the same room with me. I won't say who. There's something to be said for multiple alarms. Okay, you said it yourself. No, there's not. No, there's not. Yes, there is. Otherwise, they wouldn't have they wouldn't have invented the snooze button. But a snooze button is more like I should be up now, but you know what? Uh I am not going to uh I don't know. I'm not going to put the garbage out to the curb this morning. Bam. Five more minutes. And you hit the snooze alarm. That's working forward. That's too risky. But you're working backwards. Yeah. And there's no point in it. If the alarm goes off at 7:00, it's that if that's when you should get up, you just get up. How am I not working forward from the first alarm? Because you didn't because you never intended to be up at 5:00 a.m. You intended to be up at 7:00. Whereas this new alarm 2 hours far. I I agree with you on that part. You do do this though. You have shared this before. You will go at least an hour ahead, maybe an hour and a half. No. Yes, you have. You've told me 45 minutes. No, I don't believe you. What you're thinking of, Brandon. I'm sorry. We'll get to you in a second. Um, what you're thinking of is that just that I have like a bunch of alarms, but if I'm going No, I understand you can have alarms for other things, but okay. Even if it's 45 minutes ahead of time, Kylie, you're setting it knowing you're never going to get up. Yeah. like at least the 7:00 and you hit the snooze. Maybe it was an option that you may may have gotten up at 7, but you're waking yourself up early knowing you're not going to actually get up that early and I find it weird. You know what? All right, we got to we got to do traffic. We got to do traffic. We want my reasoning. We want to know how many alarms do you set for getting up in the morning? How many alarms are you setting? And do you know anybody who does this I'm going to wake myself up just to go back to sleep thing? Not a snooze alarm, but the other way. God, I love it. 1 800283 101.5. Here's Fast Traffic. The fall savings event is here and it's New Jersey 101.5. It is 2:25. And we've got uh Rick Rickman coming up with news at the bottom of the hour. Uh he's going to have a story on uh the deadline to register to vote. It is frighteningly close. He's got all the info that you're going to need. So we want to know at 1800 283101.5. Uh personal question. You're in bed, right? No. How many how many alarms are you setting to get yourself up in the morning? And I'm not talking about hitting the snooze alarm. I mean, you can if you want, but what I mean is it's almost the opposite of the time you should be up and then you start hitting the snooze alarm. I'm saying that you're purposely waking yourself up before you need to even wake up to have the pleasure of going back to sleep. This is nothing that I think makes sense, but Kylie does it. And I've learned over the years a lot of people do it and I don't get it. There are dozens of us. Dozens. Yeah. It feels like it's only dozens, but I think it's a lot. And I don't know why. I don't know. I mean, because again, uninterrupted sleep is going to be more restorative. Not to get all medical and geeky, but it is. So, like to wake up to cut your sleep short only to go back to sleep and then wake up again in 20 minutes only to go back to sleep. How is that good for you? The one alarm is too jarring. I need the I need the uh you know the the comfort of like okay baby you have 30 more minutes and then you can care about the day. Just having the one alarm and be like get up now start existing. I'm like I get the most sleep I can without having to rush whether it's with the kids or whatever I'm doing right and I and I will work from that and I will set one alarm no more. And I don't think I've ever hit a snooze alarm. But having the one alarm is the rushing. No. Well, no. It's the most sleep you can get. No, no, no, no, no. Rushing would be if I've got 40 minutes worth of stuff to do and I give myself only 30 minutes to do it, then it would be rushing. So, if I got to be out the door at 7:40 and I set it for 7, that's not rushing. If I set it for 710, that would be rushing. You know what I'm saying? Like, so like you plan these things out. And the point is when that alarm goes off, and I bet you I hope somebody calls in who who's like me, cuz you're going to say, "Oh, that's just so boring." But this is how I am. When that alarm goes off, there's no snooze button. There's no second alarm. My feet are on the floor within 10 seconds. It's bam, I'm out of bed. Doesn't matter how tired I am. Doesn't matter how crappy I feel. I'm up and I'm moving. I might have only one eye open, but I'm moving. See, that's the rushing that I'm talking about. That's not rushing. That's called life. That is called life. Feet on the ground in 10 seconds. That is ex That is exactly Russian. No, it's not. What do you think the military is like? Not that I was. Why do you think I'm not in the military? I would be the worst troops. To quote Mikelia, you expect me to hold a gun this heavy and run away screaming? See, that's one thing I could have handled in military cuz I do that anyway. It's like a guy comes in banging a trash can at 4:00 a.m. All right, I'm up. That's it. There's no discussion. It doesn't matter how you feel. You just do it. Unimaginable lifestyle. All right, her phone number. Yeah. Hey, man. My daughter's doing it right now. She's halfway through basic training. All right. How many alarms are people setting in the morning? 1800 283101.5. John and Edison, you're on New Jersey 101.5. Uh, Mr. Dinsky, you hit it right on the nose with uninterrupted sleep. I have one alarm. There you go. Okay, there you go. Do you ever hit the snooze button? Never. So, I about a year ago, I bought an Apple Watch and there's an app that monitors your sleep and there's three uh levels. There's the REM, which is rapid eye movement, deep sleep, and core sleep, which is what you're basically going to do when you snooze, snooze uh your phone, right? So, I noticed when I, you know, years ago when I stopped or I kept on hitting the snooze, um, I felt even lousier Yeah. snoozing than actually waking up normally. Yep. I could see it. I could see it. So, yeah, you and I are very much alike. One alarm, no snooze. That that system, though, to tell you how you slept, I see these ads for these apps that will do the same thing, but some of them say it will even tell you when you farted in your sleep. Oh, I don't need to know that. Does yours tell you that? Um, my wife will do give me an elbow if I do that. She's the No, I swear to God, I see these ads for these sleep apps, how you slept, and it'll tell you like, you know, you talked in your sleep, and then I swear to God, it'll be like 3:48 a.m. You farted. It's like, who needs to know that? I'll be honest, my initial reaction was, "Ew, now I've gotten curious." Oh my god. How often am I doing it? No one need you don't know what you don't know. No one needs to know. John, thank you for calling New Jersey 101.5. If you're alone, you don't need to know. If you're not, you'll know. You'll you'll be told. 1 800283101.5. Yeah. Follow that. Family Farm is open for the false. All right. This is very divisive on the app. We're talking about how many alarms you set in the morning. And so far, it's leg. It's legit 50/50. Country's so torn in half. We can't agree on anything. We used to be a proper country, right? Dylan and Langghorn says that if he has to work at 6, or actually, it could be a she. If they have to work at 6, they set a ton of alarms starting at 4:05ish. They like to enjoy their mornings before going to hell. Their words, not mine. Why don't you get more restorative sleep, though? How are you enjoying it by simply being woken up and then rolling right back over and hopefully going back to sleep in three minutes? I love the rollover. You're not enjoying anything. You're not. Susie and Morristown says that it's uh really bad for my sleep cycle. A snooze is meant for when you accidentally fall back asleep. My method is bananas. My being me, Kylie. Oh. Oh, Susie saying I'm bananas. I thought you meant her method. I know. That's why I had something to do with eating bananas. Oh, that's not why I clarified. I take that back. Yeah. Sean in Bethlehem says, "I set one alarm." Sorry. Sorry, Kylie. I'm an adult and I have things to do. Sean, I'm an adult also. I just know when I have things to do and I want to wake up a little before that and then roll back to sleep. Sean, Jeff here. I hear you. I hear you. Right. You get up. You just get at it. And then Hobok and Joe confusingly from Sakus. Maybe he was born and raised in Hobbook, but is that two alarms 10 minutes apart? Because the snooze only gives 9 minutes. What? I I thought it was eight minutes, but I don't know. I see I don't know. I don't do it. I like to control my snoozes. Yeah, I I don't I don't know it because I never use it. So, if Very divisive, as always, if you can't call in, you can always message me message us on the app. We will read them. And uh real quick before we go back to the phones on this, I just do want to recognize what Brendan uh was talking about with uh all the flooded roads and everything. Um I know the bays are rising right now, the waters are higher. We are going to dedicate a 3:00 hour to talking about what it's like, especially if you're along, you know, those coastal towns. Um what kind of flooding you're having. So that'll be coming up. I So yeah, in the meantime, when you're needing to get up in the morning, do you just set the alarm for a reasonable time or you backing it up and waking up just to go back to sleep? That to me seems crazy. Karen, you're on New Jersey 101.5. Hey y'all. Um, Kylie, I'm kind of in your court. I am the heaviest sleeper in the world. I have to have at least three alarms to wake up. The first two I'm coming out of various levels of deep sleep and if I try one heaven help us. How far apart are they? Um anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes apart. I usually I have to be up by like 5:45. So I'll usually back it up. Uh the next alarm back is 10 to 15 minutes before and then 10 to 15 minutes before that. So like like 5 in the morning you're starting to wake up about 5:20 5:25. Oh okay. Gotcha. Gotcha. Somewhere in there. So and then 10 minutes later 10 15 minutes later depends upon what's going on. But I if not if I set the one alarm it's ridiculous. It becomes part of my dream and I'll sleep till I wake up. Well now I mean if you're only doing it say with like two or three settings, why not just hit the snooze for those short durations? It seems like a snooze would do the same thing because I'm still sleeping. Yeah, you need the It's a scheduled snooze, Jeff. Yeah, I can't I don't hit it. It It turns off. So, I don't know what the difference is, but I can't. But I mean But I mean, won't a snooze alarm go until you turn it off? Just like an alarm you have to turn off. I don't get I don't get it, guys. It will become part of my dream. was here. Well, either way, it could become part of your dream, right? No, because she's slowly she's progressively waking up. But but you can't do that with a snooze alarm. I mean, it's just a different name of an alarm. No, because a snooze alarm will keep going and it just becomes part of the dream. It'll be that I'm, you know, might be on fire. Well, an alarm just keep on going. No, you know, by the the third alarm, Karen, I get what you're saying. get what? No. See, and and and and I apologize. I don't get it at all. An alarm is an alarm. My husband doesn't get either. He's up even he's he's up even before one alarm goes off. But and it's even worse. I have even more alarms if for some reason everybody's shift is their real early morning shifts in the house. And if I'm going to be the only one getting up at that time, I will put more alarms in because I might sleep through them. Karen, that that whole system is a little little out there. I'm sorry. I I hear you. I see you. It works great. If you try to wake me up with one alarm, oh my gosh, I'm a mess all day long. As she said, help us. Okay, I just All right, I'm with you, Karen. Thank you for calling New Jersey 101.5. Kevin in Woodbridge. Hey, Kev. Hey, guys. How's it going? Okay, good. So, I only set it once and the time that I set it for all depends on what I prepared the night before. Like the K cup is already in the machine, the cream is already in the cup, right? You know, every lunch is already packed. And what can really throw it off on what time I said it is how big the poop was before the dog the dog did the night before before I went to bed. What the hell would that matter? Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Because if it wasn't Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait. Is it because you might have to walk him longer in the morning because he didn't produce a lot, right? Because I know how much I fed him and how much should come out. And if it's a poodle, if it's a poodle one and not a dinosaur one, I know I got to spend more time. The logic I'm illprepared to hear about, but I am absolutely here for it. But ultimately though, it's just one alarm once you calculate all that. They just pulled out. They just pul They just pulled out. Something's happening. Okay. Oh, okay. Kevin, we're going to let you go. We don't know what's happening, but we're going to let you go. God bless. Oh, goodness. It sounded scary. I don't think it was. I think it was a business issue. I feel like it was a work issue. Like somebody was trying to stop somebody. No, it sound like he witnessed an accident. You think that's what it was? They just pulled out? Yeah, like pulled out of a parking lot. Like a hit and run? I don't know. I don't know. We We We will never know. We'll have to have a welfare check on Kevin. We were talking He sounded fine. I think it was somebody else. We're talking about how many alarms people are setting in the morning. Why wake yourself up unnecessarily? 1800 283101.5. Hi. And I want to know how your back is doing. New Jersey 101.5. Well, you heard it from Dan just then. Uh right now, uh the Jersey coast is experiencing its high tide. So, coming up in the 3:00 hour, uh we're going to sort of put some fishing lines out. Bad pun. And uh see if we can get anybody to just tell us uh you know, especially their coastal towns. Obviously, we know inland isn't really a thing, but along the coast, what places are flooded, certain roads are flooded, neighborhoods, that kind of thing. We'll talk about that. And uh also we have uh Rick Rickman's news coming up in just a couple of minutes. He also is going to be covering the storm impact. So stick around. We have another thousand code coming up with a with a network payday as well. Exciting day on New Jersey 101.5. It is. Bob in Hillsboro. You're on New Jersey 101.5. What's your alarm mo? Hello Bob. Bob. Oh no. He fell asleep. Bob in Hillsboro. And he didn't have the alarm set. If you have the mute button, take it off, my friend. Mute button, Bob. Calling in. There go. There goes Bob. See, and that's why it's so important to set several alarms because maybe had he had the, you know, preemptive like, okay, you're going to go on the air in a few minutes, he'd be able to he'd be prepared. He just now I think he just got caught between cell towers or something like that. I Here's what's crazy, too, about what you do. I don't even necessarily sleep great, you know, especially when I've got uh times when I've got the boys with me because uh they often won't sleep. Well, one of them, one of the two often won't sleep great. And even then, I just need that one alarm. I don't understand why you are going to wake yourself up on purpose just for the pleasure of going back to sleep. How is that? Do you remember the old greater than, lesser than signs, right? Of course, in math. All right. How is that greater than just getting extra sleep? You are costing yourself sleep by waking yourself up and then the couple of minutes it's going to take to drift back to sleep. So, how is that better? I'm going to try to make this make sense. I'm already not a good I am already not a good sleeper. So, I'm already waking up through the night anyway. Just if there is a a bird sound, if I have to use the restroom, if you know someone opens a car door outside, I'm already waking up. So, I need the gentle ease of just like, "Okay, I know it's been a rough night, honey, but you're going to have to wake up in half an hour." And I'm like, "Thank you so much, phone. I'll talk to you then." And then I roll back over and I snuggle up in my blankets and I try to go back to sleep. You're a bad sleeper. I'm a terrible sleeper. There can't be light. There can't be sounds. I've always been a bad sleeper. When you wake up because of the bird or a light or a sound or whatever, do you ever just quickly look at your phone to see what time it is? Very very quickly, but I I won't open notifications. Okay. All right. Then maybe you are a poor sleeper because all I was going to say I mean I wouldn't know. I was just going to say I know that I have say like a night before sent you say like at 1000 p.m. Hey, here's an idea I just had for the show tomorrow, right? Mhm. 10 a.m. It still will not have the red notification on it. So So I'm always thinking, "Oh, she's dead to the world all night." But no, now I see what you're saying. You're saying that you're not necessarily opening anything. Yeah, I will never open the lock screen. Okay, I got you. That's fair. I'm not a doom scroller in bed. I saved that for the couch. That's fair. That's fair. All right. Uh we've got Rick Rickman's news coming up. Yes, it's another $1,000 at work payday. That code is coming up again about 20 minutes after the hour. Don't go anywhere. New Jersey 101.5. We are here. New Jersey Chime time is 3:10 on this Monday, this rainy Monday afternoon. It's the Dinsky and Moore Show. I'm Kylie Moore and I'm Jeff Deinsky. So, you've been hearing our chief meteorologist Dan Zarrow uh talk about high tide and that has been happening pretty much the entire past hour. Uh which would mean uh that the flooding would be at its worst. And that's what we want to ask. Now, we realize most of New Jersey, it's inland. Maybe you lost some power, but all you're really getting is maybe some heavy rain this weekend and today or some lighter rain comes and goes. Um, but especially along the coast. And I know you've got a list of some places that are affected, but before you even give those, I just want to ask because I don't want people in those areas to feel like we're ignoring you. Okay. Are you seeing flooding in your town? if you I mean you know I mean the Delaware along the Delaware is uh is another place it doesn't have to be the shore it could be the other coast as well but are you seeing any even minor flooding you got a couple inches of water in the streets are you able to drive through it or you not able to drive through it or roads closed down uh and one other thing and this is for any of us because we like all the kids to be able to play along what was the deepest flood water you ever tried driving through with past storms? What was the deepest water you ever tried? And did you make it? 1 800283 101.5. Yeah, I was hearing in Brendan's report, uh, this is just the the last one I was able to hear. I wasn't quite listening to the last one because I was, you know, using the restroom. The Atlantic City has flooding. Um, Abin had roads closed both ways due to flooding. Belmar, Long Branch, and that's just like that's the tip of the iceberg. We're hearing a lot. We're also hearing in Rick's news how travel was affected with this, but that's with airport delays. Yeah. Uh some delays as bad as an hour and 20 minutes and just this seems like for air delays. That's just called Newark, isn't it? That's just called New York. That's my bad. That's what he said. No, no, no. Seriously, there's always delays there. Anyway, but no, on a serious note, this is affecting a lot of people and uh we want to hear how it's affecting you at 1800 283101.5. Yeah. It doesn't just have to be if you're having any flooding and again even just like a little bit of flooding. I'm just really curious and if I could almost for selfish reasons I moved to Madawan. I never lived in Monmouth County before. Right. Welcome to the party pal. Right. So I'm in Monmouth County now and I was looking at a map over the weekend and I'm a lot closer to the water than I was even realizing that I would be when I was first thinking about moving there, you know. Uh but yet still even just like a couple of miles that's enough of a difference. Like it's not like a single street that I've been on was flooding. It's not like a single road in Madawan was closed that I knew about over the weekend, you know, like nothing. And so and so again, I'm assuming it's really um the places you just mentioned and maybe as far as local street flooding, maybe the barrier islands like that. But if you're um if you're affected by any flooding, even minor flooding, could you let us know? Uh 1 800283101.5 because yeah, I'm living in Madawan, but I'm feeling like I'm kind of missing the party. It's not a good party. It's not a party you really want to be at. I think you're I think you're just fine not being at this party. I know what you mean, right? I And I know that, but yet it's like I'm that close, but yet I'm not experiencing what other people are experiencing, you know? And so I'm just kind of It's almost like the It's almost like a reverse FOMO. Fear of missing out. You know what I mean? Like even if it's a bad thing, you sort of want to have like a story, an anecdote. And I got nothing. It's just been rainy all weekend. There was never anything. It never lost power. That's another thing, by the way. If you lost power, you could absolutely let us know that, too, and where you are. But are you seeing any flooding? How has this noraster affected you in your town? And uh and if not, and this one's for the rest of us, what's the deepest water you ever tried driving through? They always tell you and warn you and beg you not to do that. Turn around. Don't drown. That's always what you're hear you're hearing Dan Arrow say. 1800283101.5. Carol in Middletown. You're on New Jersey 101.5. Hi, I work in Sebrite and I'll tell you the conditions of the roadways on Ocean Avenue, there's no way you can get past it when it's high tide. It took me 40 minutes to go from um Sebrite to the Sandy Hook Bridge. So, if anybody's out there, don't take Ocean Avenue. Well, I mean, you say don't take it. And is is that the route you took? It was just slow. I have to Well, I work in Sebrite and I live in North Middletown. So, Ocean Avenue to 36 is the the fastest and convenient way. But if the flooding was so bad, I would have to go through Jolene up to Eaten Town. So, so in other words, ocean was not even passable. Like you would have gotten stuck. Yeah. Well, I went through like a foot and a half of water out. Whoa. Okay. Yeah. I was behind a truck. I I left my office out of my um parking lot and I waited for a truck to go past so I can be behind him. So when he's going in front of me, he pushes the water away and I'm right on his Well, that's what you were. Yeah. Almost like a cow catcher on a train. Yes. Yes. Well, that's how it works. You know, I've been working in Sebrite for 22 years all the time, right? And I have a small car out of Cobalt. Oh my. No kidding. I I would have thought I would have thought maybe people living on, you know, in those areas would have had something with a little bit more clearance off the ground. Well, I love my Cobalt. I've had it since 2008. Never gave me trouble and my husband takes care of it. So, I only have to worry about it on these kind of conditions, right? You know, so it's getting rusted underneath, but I'm just saying Ocean Avenue should be repaired or the drainage something has to be done. Yeah, that sounds terrifying. Carol, I'm glad you're okay. Thank you for calling New Jersey 101.5. Uh let's talk to Allan in Piscatoaway. You're on New Jersey 101.5. Yeah. How you guys doing? Hey Alan. Um I'm good. Everything's good. I during Hurricane Ida on the way home from work, I had to drive my truck. Uh it was like three almost 3 ft of water. It actually took the truck and lifted it and was pulling it sideways. By the time I actually the tires hit the ground, I was already on on the grass. Almost got sucked out in the creek. Oh my god. Yeah. I was going to say, I mean, you just explained it, but when you said it lifted off the ground, you were going sideways, I was like, that's called being swept away, but but mercifully, it dropped you back onto ground. Thank God. Yeah. Oh, you are so lucky, man. Yeah, it was it was that was really bad. Uh, just trying to get home. Took me almost two and a half hours to drive 15, you know, 10 miles. Oh, have I got a story about Ida? Ida was the Ida was the storm that sadly I believe and apologies if I'm one or two off on this, but I believe the death toll in New Jersey was like 30. That was going to be around my guess. Yeah, I believe it was 30. But man, I had one of the No, not one of the the scariest night driving I ever had that night. But yeah, I could I could get into it. If there's ever a day to tell that story years later, it's probably today with the flooding going on. We'll have to hear it. Alan, thank you for calling New Jersey 10 a 1.5. All right. So, with this nor easter happening, um the high tide, you know, has been about, you know, in the last hour or so. What kind of flooding, even if it's minor, we just want to know, be your uh be your eyes for this. What kind of flooding are you seeing in your town? Did you ever lose power this weekend? And also, what is the deepest water that you ever tried to drive through? And did you regret it? 1 800283101.5. It is 319. Here's fast traffic. makes zombies sharp. Wishing the week away over there. I know. Thinking it's Tuesday already for crying out loud. It's 3:25 with Jeff Deinsky and Kylie Moore. We're going to have Rick Rickman's news in under five minutes. Right now, what are you seeing with the with the weather? Are you seeing flooding? Are there horrific winds? I mean, you've been hearing it in Zara's forecast and Jill and Brendan's traffic reports. Seems like um seems like I'm very happy to not be on the roads right now. Yeah, but depending on where you are in the city. Yeah, exactly right. I mean, I think this is really really just like, you know, an extreme coast thing. I think most other places, uh you're going to find that Yeah, it's just wet. It's not fun, but just wet. But are you, if you are seeing anything like that in your town, real quick, let us know. Uh 1 800283101.5. Um like I people who live on those barrier island shore towns I feel like they are so used to this that they are just unflapable. They nothing will phase them with this. I think they've been through it all. So they don't realize why we would even be interested in hearing this. You know this is just like it's just called the shore. It's where we live. But I remember um I only lived one time uh right at the shore. I was uh like two or three blocks away from the beach in Ocean City. And when I lived in Ocean City, if you got below a certain like maybe it was was it below the 20s, like maybe 25th Street, something like that. the southern part of Ocean City when it would rain and it didn't have to be a rain like this nor easter, it would flood every time and you would have water above the curbs. It was you could drive through it. It wasn't, you know, you were not in any danger of being swept away, but even just a mild rain and you had easily four or five inches of rain that you were just plowing through when you're driving. Um, not enough to be worried about losing traction. Not enough to be worried about getting your car swept away. But this is just how everybody lives there. That's It's weird. That's bonkers. Oh, yeah. Yeah. You walk out of a store, you get into your car, your feet are soaking wet. Yeah. At least I mean that's what I remember. You know, you always have these projects, Army Corps of Engineers, and they redo things and all that. Maybe it's different now, but this is decades ago, and I just remember the southern part of Ocean City always. So, I was always seeing it get flooded out like that. So, if you're in one of those kind of spots, what are you seeing from this Nor Easter or or what did you see over the weekend? 1 800283101.5. And that other question, this brings me back, man. What year, I wonder, was IDA? Because the other question is, what was the deepest water that you either chose to or felt you had to try to drive through? 1 800283101.5. This had to be somewhere between what? 2017 and 2019, I want to say. I was going to say it was postpandemic, but standby. I'm googling it. No way. Was it post pandemic? I believe so. Was it really 2021? Wow. You're right. You're right. As it Well, yeah. Some would say we were even still in it a little bit, but Okay. Oh, boy. That was only four years ago. But yeah, I was living in um I was living in Raron Township at the time and um all hell started breaking loose right at 7:00 when we got off the air here. So I had to go north on 31. Now you didn't experience what I experienced. Although nobody was experiencing Good thing. You had to go uh what? East. Yeah, it was 195 295. Worst I experienced was lightning. That was really it. Yeah. Not even like ponding on the roads at that point. No, I had the exact opposite experience of you. You had such a different experience because you know what? I I'm going to have to We're going to have to pause for for news, but but I'll tell this because there's no way I could tell this in 30 seconds. It was absolutely in a landslide the scariest time I ever had driving. At one point, I was convinced I was going to be dead. It was that bad. almost got swept away is what I'm getting at. And u And you had a big car. And I had a big car. I had a Ford Explorer, right? I mean, there are bigger, but it was not, you know, it was not a little tiny, it was not a Miata. Was my little dinky Camry, right? It was not like that. Uh but yeah, I'll tell you what happened, man. But what about you? I mean, what was the deepest water you ever remember driving through and the flooding right now? Are you seeing any in your own town? What's been your experience with this Nor Easter? 1800 283 101.5. Are you seeing any active flooding anywhere? 1 800 283 101.5. And in the past, who's had to drive through some uh questionably high flood water? And did you lose your car or did you make it? 1800 283101.5 and live from our on the street reporter Charlie who is produc he's supposed to produce the night show tonight right he's supposed to be here later but already by it's now 3:39 he already knows he will not be able to be here by 7:00 he can't get out no he's in one of these towns where there's apparently no way out of it yeah I'm not going to dox where Charlie lives but he's near the Avon Belmar bridge right and it's bad enough that he already knows that he can't be in here by seven Wow that is terrifying. Yikes. Yeah. Yeah. Like where it's bad, it's bad. Most places are okay. But where it's bad, right, people are stuck. I told him we said to drive safe. Uh let's take some calls here before I tell you my IDA story. Tom in Edgewater. Hi. Hi. How you doing? Okay. Good. So, uh I grew up in Edgewater, which is very, uh prone to flooding. I have seen the Hudson come up and um flood river road a ton of times, but I moved out to Scotch Plains and I think you were talking about it earlier u five six years ago there was like a flash flood like out of nowhere it bumped inches in like an hour. Mhm. So my wife called me and she's like, "Tom, we're at the house. You know, the water's coming in." I couldn't believe it because I'm coming from Staten Island. It was sunny, you know, right? And I I got home. I I could not get to I live off of uh Route 22 West, right, on a dead end. And Route 22 East was open. Route 22 West was like the Colorado River Rapids. Oh my god. So you couldn't get there. So yeah, so I I parked on the east side, cross over the Jersey barrier, and was trudging through at least waist deep water to get to my house. 12 blocks away. You walked through that. I mean, wasn't the force of it tremendous? No, I I was leaning leaning into it and and as I'm walking there, I'm passing grillstone, which which uh closed down, but it was a a restaurant. And all my buddies and the bartenders and everything are out there going, "Tom, what are you doing?" I'm like, "I got to get home. I'm losing my house." They're like, "We'll have a beer for you when you come back." You know? So I got my house and in between my house and the other house, my HVAC unit was on its side holding on to like a like a piece of copper, you know. Jeez. How much water was How much water got in your home? It was Well, my bottom the bottom floor got flooded completely, you know, new sheet rock, new everything. But that was that was not even the biggest part. But my father-in-law was there. He goes, "Tom, there's a drain out in the back that if that's cleared, the water will go down." So, I'm thinking like a storm drain, like like a regular like a drain. It was like a drain that could have sucked me and seven people in. I'm back there with Drake, you know, trying to, you know, once I realized what it was later on, I realized I could have been dead. Dude, you're lucky because I if we if we're talking if we're talking about Ida, and it sounds like we are, but even if you're not, even it was a different incident. I know during Ida, um there was one gentleman, and there were so many tragic stories. There was one gentleman who was doing the same thing, but it was a a public sewer that he was trying to clear and and as he's trying to clear it to make the water, you know, uh go down on his on his street. He was trying to be a good neighbor and um and something happened and he got sucked down. I didn't remember that. That's awful. Yep. Yep. He got swept away and he drowned. Tom, yeah, you're really lucky, man. Thank goodness, Tom. Thank you for calling New Jersey 1.5. Steven in Monmouth Beach, I believe, is calling in with something in real time. Hey, Stephen, are you calling in about conditions right now? I'm calling in for a live weather report right now. There you go. Live from the street. I just want I just want to say me and my girlfriend are also the biggest fan of you guys. So, this is an honor right now. Oh, thank you. Well, why Well, why are we all Well, why are we not all out drinking together then? Exactly. 3:42 and a month after this one. It's 5:00 somewhere. I don't care. It already started at five. It started at 5:00 at 10 a.m. over here. All right. So, what what you want to tell us? Yeah. So, uh, me and my girlfriend, we're over in Fair Haven just doing all the laundry before. I live in Mammoth Beach and I'm still trying to make it back right now. It's been about an hour. Everything, the high tide, I would say Long Branch, Ocean Port, it's almost like 6 in to a foot, but all the roads are starting to get closed off. Oh. So, so you're stuck right now. Just Just like our worker Charlie, you're stuck. You can't leave. Yeah, you might have to call the helicopter unit for me. But uh and no, everywhere we go, there's just traffic everywhere. Uh back up, you're tell you're looking at your GPS to go one way, the roads closed, you're going back the other way. We're going through parts of uh Little Silver. I lived here for 10 years I've never even seen before. Oh my gosh. That's funny. Don't you hate that too when the GPS thinks the road is open cuz the GPS doesn't understand that it's closed off and underwater and it keeps just rerouting you back to that road which you know won't work. Read the room, Siri. Read the room. It took me like eight years to build trust with this thing and now it's going back out the window again. Gosh, that's funny, man. Hey, drive safe, guys. Don't don't do anything stupid. Don't risk it. If you have to pull over, do that. Right. Just wait it out somewhere. As long as you're safe, that's the main thing. Stay safe, Stephen. Thank you for calling New Jersey 101.5. I still haven't told you the eye tonight. Okay, we have time. We'll see if we We'll see if we do. Jeff, we're here until 7:00. Are you Are you seeing flood water uh like that guy uh in your town? Do you know anybody who's stuck somewhere right now? Now we know several. And um and also even if you're not seeing anything bad right now from this noraster, what about in the past? What is the deepest water you ever tried driving through? 1800 283101.5. Jeff Deinsky. And if you're tired, 352 with Jeff and Kylie. Danny's news is coming up in just under 8 minutes. He'll keep us posted on all the New Jersey news. Right now, we want to know right now you're our news reporters. What's going on on the roads? Are you seeing flooding? And how bad is it? or what's the worst uh flooding they've ever tried to drive through? 1800 283101.5 and in Long Beach. Hi. Hi. Hi. What are you seeing? How are things there? I I just drove on to Long Beach Island and uh it used to flood at the bridge all the time. It was much better. I got to the main road. I'm heading north on the boulevard. Uh all the back roads are very flooded, but the main road is fine. Okay. But there's a lot of flooding and back roads though. Yes. What's the I mean I know this is just a guess. I know you're not getting out with a yard stick or anything but but like what would you guess the deepest flooding is that you're seeing you know on some of those what I saw what I saw was only 6 to 8 in. Okay. Once again I'm I'm heading north. I'm not heading south on the island. Right. Right. You say only but that's nothing to mess with. No, absolutely not. Yeah. See, but when you live there though that like people just people are more used to this. I picture and like pulling a drag of a cigarette just I'm used to this honey. Yes. Even though that's not at all what you sound like. That's what I picture in my mind's eye. Right. Right. Right. Right. Yeah. Oh, that's so funny. Yeah. No, like I said, the north end seems to be okay, but I know there's uh traffic there's a lot of water down by Beach Haven and in that area. Yeah. Hey Ann, we appreciate your story. Thank you. Stay safe. Jim in East Brunswick. You're on New Jersey 101.5. Hey gang, I'll make it quick. This is a vintage story from 50 years ago. Okay. Wow. I'm with a a very good friend in my 68 Mustang. Yeah. Going to a rare record store in New Brunswick to trade David Bow's first album for a rare three dis Bob Dylan greatest hits from Australia. They were both about both about $50. Then we're leaving the store with the trade, the hardest rain you can imagine. And we go under this this overpass on Route 18 and thinking, "Oh, we can get through this." And no, it's over my tailpipe and we're stuck. And the water is up to our necks in the car. Oh boy. So you abandon it out. What do you do? All I cared about was the record. So you're holding the record over your head. Did you walk? Did you walk out of there? No, no, no. We put it on the back. You know, our cars then had shelves. I figure it's from a it's from Australia. There used to water all around them. And then a truck pushed us out. We were very lucky. And uh now that David that David Bowie album now is worth about $500, but that 68 Mustang is worth much more now. Wow. That's a crazy story. Hey Jim, thank you for calling New Jersey 101.5. I thought I was invincible. New Jersey chime time. It is 4:10 and uh you know what today is? Yeah. You're going to think it's Monday. It's not. It's not Monday. It's a $1,000 work payday. Monday. That's right. And you and we've got I'm sorry. I don't know why that cracked me up. And we've got uh we've got another code coming your way in roughly 10 minutes. And if you missed this one, well, shame on you, number one. But number two, we'll have yet another one coming up next hour, also about 20 minutes after the hour. And you have until Wait, wait, wait. I'm going to cue you to do that. Okay. And just remember, you always have until midnight to enter those codes. Oo. And this Thursday will be a $10,000 at work pit day. Woo! Yeah. No, she speaks the truth. $10,000 that daily prize goes up to on uh on Thursday this week, just like last week. So, make sure that you are listening. Okay. Uh I I have an interest in something yet I have never pursued it. It's so dumb that I never did, but I admire the heck out of anybody who takes I guess you'll call it urban exploring, I guess, is what you would call it, who takes it to such a serious level that they say it actually has become a hobby. But even if you only did it one time, just as a teenage lark, going inside some abandoned place, I admire it. Then there are the people. And you know who did this for a while by the way? Who? Our well our old boss and our new midday host who works with Judy. EJ. EJ's son. Yes. EJ's son did urban exploring and people who are truly into it. Often it goes handinhand with photography. And I think he did a lot of photography in these places because there's something about the grit, the history. It's almost like the Pompei frozen in time kind of nature of things. They can make for these hauntingly beautiful photographs. I mean, it's so ugly that it's beautiful, if that makes any sense. You know, peeling paint and old bulletin boards and gurnies and hospital hallways that are just still there, made up from 40 years ago as if waiting for a patient still. And you'll get these black and white photos sometimes and they're just hauntingly beautiful. No, I get disturbingly beautiful. You put you put it perfectly with Frozen in Time. Yeah, that's what's kind of it in part anyway. I mean, there's also just the danger of it. Not everybody's going to have the guts to do it. I am never going to encourage somebody to do it because when you go into an abandoned structure, the longer it's been abandoned, the more likely it is that you can get hurt. You could have you could have a floor cave in on you. I mean, decay happens, you know. So, I'm not encouraging any young person to ever do this by asking, "Have you ever done it?" I don't mean to encourage anybody to do it. Please don't. Don't do it. No, really. I mean, it's why I never did. Like I would come this close to it if I if I had a guarantee that I wasn't gonna fall through a floor or there'd be some like homicidal homeless person, crazy person in there that might do me harm, then I definitely would because there's the visuals that you will get in one of these abandoned places. I think that they're just there's something gorgeous about them in a weird twisted way. So anyway, why am I bringing this up? Here's why. Because later this week, I'm going to I'm going to be doing this article, and it has something to do with this long abandoned uh hospital that is in Newark, and it was called uh St. Michaels. And it has been around since uh the uh short shortly after World War II. It's been around since the 1870s. That's how long this has been around. and they added on to it at one point. And I mean, I won't give you the whole history of it, but it's been it's been long empty, abandoned for decades now. And somebody who was writing this blog about it, I'm just going to pick this up where this person goes into first person here. Somebody who wrote this is saying, "I first tried to get inside the hospital as a teenager back in 2012. I ducked into the basement with the hope that I could find a stairwell that would bring me into the now abandoned portion. My goals were dashed as a large security guard caught me almost immediately and escorted me out of the hospital. I was disappointed, but at the time the interior of the hospital was sheathed in drywall and drop ceiling, so I didn't think I was missing much. I nearly forgot about the hospital until they announced that they were filling the bankruptcy protection or I'm sorry, file filing the bankruptcy protection. The hospital was then sold to Prime Healthcare, took control of the hospital in 2016, blah blah blah blah blah. But the point of that that I was reading was somebody when they were teenager, they tried to sneak in. I would not have had the coahones. Well, is it just because of what I'm saying? like because they're getting hurt or like like what would be ghouls? I don't know. Oh, gh. Oh, just general fear. Oh, like haunted. A lot of people feel that, you know, the older a place is and it's long abandoned, a lot of people feel that there's activity, but half the people believe in paranormal activity. The other half of people in the United States, they don't believe it at all. But, I mean, maybe that would be part of the allure for some of you. And you and I, not to speak for you, it's just we've discussed this before. You and I are kind of on the same page about that where it's like it depends on the day, right? We go back and forth. Whatever the last story is that I hear, that's that's what I believe. Yeah. Like sometimes I think like ah that's that's completely counter to any logic reason. Right. And then the next story I'll be like that was your grandmother and she wanted to send you a message. Right. Right. I never really know where I come down in any of that. Right. To totally true. But I simply want to ask who has explored an abandoned place? Have you gone in somewhere? 1 800283101.5. I don't care, man. Even if nothing happened. You just went in, you poked around for 10 minutes, you got bored, you left, that's fine. I just want to know where you went. Bonus points. If something did happen, if something did happen, even better. If you ran across some creepy, you know, uh, drug addict that was like, you know, making it into like a crack house. Okay. How did that go down? Did the cops get you in trouble? How did that See, I wouldn't be worried about cops. I wouldn't care if I got arrested. That wouldn't be the thing. I don't want to break my leg in there and be alone and have like if I had a large group of people, much more likely that I would do it. But I I don't hang with a large group of people. But alone, no one can hear you scream. Exactly right. Like I'm always alone, man. I that that's why I won't if I had 10 other guys that wanted to go in one much much more likely that I would go in there because if I did get hurt they're going to go for help or they're going to carry me out of there or something. You know what I mean? But right like just me going in n it's like too risky. But I wouldn't care about getting uh I would not really care about running into a homeless person unless they were homicidal. I would not really care about running into a ghost. I would like that. I would like to see something. I care about slicing my leg open and bleeding out before I could get back to my car. That's what I would care about because floors give way, stairwells collapse, things can happen. That's that's the thing that holds me back from doing it. But if you've ever done it, I would love to hear your story. No matter how cool or boring it was, I don't care. Who's done it and where did you explore abandoned places? 1 800283101.5. It's 4:19. Here's fast traffic. Home Depot has everything you need to turn your 4:24 is the time. We've got Danny D. Cresenzo's news coming up in uh about 56 minutes. Also later in the show, there's this New Jersey family that is getting a hard time from certain people in the neighborhood because they made a skeleton Halloween display of a Mexican skeleton in a sombrero being arrested by an ice skeleton wearing, you know, customs enforcement vest and a lot of people are saying this is too offensive. We'll talk about that later on. All right, so who has explored any abandoned places? is 1 800283101.5. Calling in from Lawrence Harbor. Nancy, hi. You're on New Jersey 101.5. Hi. How are you guys today? Good. Nancy, how are you? Uh, good. Good. Um, I guess it was about 25 years ago. My sister and I took a ride up to North Jersey and there's this little I guess you would call it amusement park. It was called Fairy Tale Forest and you would walk along this path and there was these little like hut like things that each had a fairy tale display in it. So there was like three little pigs. Old Mother Hubard was the next one. Now this um place had closed down probably I would say maybe 10 or 15 years before we decided to explore. Right. So, all the um all the little displays of the the figures were all they were like made out of ceramic or something and everything was chipped and you know nothing was upkept over the years. Yeah. And my sister and I walked around this whole place. There was nobody there. And we were looking at these creepy displays and we get to the very end and there was a big storage facility. So I guess they were knocking the place down. But all of these little characters had like chipped faces and like their paws were falling off and it was really creepy. This is the start of a horror movie. Honestly, it's like two young women on a lark go to this aband. And you know what? As you were talking about it, I looked I looked this up and there's a whole article on this and it says uh something about creepy photos from and and I was looking I would love to see those. Oh yeah. Oh, eerie e eerie photos from inside a oncebeloved abandoned amusement park in its fairy tale forest. There you go. And you could tell Oakidge, New Jersey. Right. Exactly. That's the place. And you could see like in your mind all the little kids running around enjoying the displays and then it just was creepy. A very drastic difference. Could you see the guy with a hatchet chasing you? Well, I'm surprised we didn't. Did Did you have any time? Did Did you have any like eerie feeling like you were being watched or that something bad could happen or didn't you feel that way at all walking around there? I really I didn't really feel that way because it was, you know, like very open. Yeah. You know, maybe if it was more of a likeed or an indoor place, right? I would have felt a little creepier, but at least you could run. Yeah, it was. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You and your friend run two separate directions. Only one of you will die, you know. Yeah, that's true. Just got to just got to run faster than your friend. Oh, Nancy, I have to look up that article. I wonder if it would look uh look familiar. Thank you for calling New Jersey 101.5. Rich in Warren, we're talking about exploring some abandoned place. Have you ever done it, Rich? No. Jeff, are you You're kidding me with this. This is unbelievable. What? I was just talking to my daughter. Her boyfriend works for a demolition company. Great kid. They're at Harrisburg State Hospital. It's so scary. Look at the picture of it. Harrisburg. They're demolishing it. Harrisburg State Hospital. They said the guys are like walking out of there shaking, kissing the crosses around their neck because they hear they're hearing things like No. Are they Are they really? Yeah. It's a It's an old mental hospital. Um, Girl Interrupted was filmed there. Oh, it's hysterical, dude. Girl Interrupted was Yeah, but look at the building. It doesn't it look creepy? Just look at it. I'm like, how is he working? Slated for demolition to make redevelopment. I'm trying to find photos. Exactly, though. Yeah. No, I got um my daughter's boyfriend will send me picture. I told him I was like, "Send me pictures. I got to see cuz they're they have to take all the furniture out. They have to take all the sheetrock off. They have to get everything down to nothing before they implode it." Yeah. Rich photos. Look at that hallway. Oh, no. Look at that hallway. I found pay me, right? Oh, man. So, you've never done it, though? No. No. But I got to tell you, you two got us so worked up. Friday, we watched that stupid Netflix horror haunted of Hill House. Haunting of Hill House. No, not that one. No, it's a new one. It just came out, but I got excited. We we almost killed each other because my wife we were so freaked out. You two, I'm telling you, we were so freaked out. I There's a hallway next to our family room and my So, we're going upstairs. It's pitch black. Yeah. She goes in the bathroom. I thought she went in the bathroom and shut the door and went in the bathroom, but she didn't. She was in the hallway. She shut the bathroom door. So, I turned the corner and she was right there and her face was glowing from her phone. Oh, no. screamed at I full scream and she's staring at me. She's screaming back at me. We're just standing like two idiots. I would have slept in separate rooms that night. Oh, thanks to you at me to watch scary stuff. Sorry, Rich. It's t is the season though. The month of October. We get freaky here. We didn't create spooky season. That's right. But we always appreciate your call, Rich. Thank you for calling in. Oh, man. Yeah, that abandoned building though that he was talking about. There are some good Okay, look at this one. I know we got to get to news. Uh again, it's an old um uh psychiatric facility. Just an abandoned cart in the middle of a vacant hall. And you see what somebody uh graffitied above? It says going to hell. Oh, no. I can't read that from here, but I'll I'll trust you on that. Oh, no wait, not gates. I I I mean, I'm not going. It says gates to hell. I'm sorry. Gates to hell. And now your phone has dimmed. So, I'll just trust you on this one. Yeah. All right. So, did you ever explore an abandoned place? Did anything happen? Was it boring? Did you get busted by the cops? 1 800283 101. A lot right now. Work New Jersey 101.5. If you missed it, we have one more code coming up. I'm talking about the $1,000 at work payday. Your chance to be registered to win. And uh you got to be listening about roughly 20 minutes after uh 5:00. So uh that'll be on its way. All right. Oh, and we'll also talk about that uh controversial Halloween display that has some neighbors complaining about one New Jersey family. We'll tell you what that's about coming up later, too. So, speaking of creepy stuff, um I'm going to be writing this article this week, and it's about uh it has to part of it has to do with this old abandoned hospital. It's been abandoned for like decades now. uh that they're going to do something with. Uh but like this this joint was like built in like the 1870s it was. So really really ancient and creepy looking. But have you ever gone into some abandoned place? For my money, the gutsiest thing to do because your mind will mess with you is going into an abandoned psych hospital because there was so much pain, there was so much sadness. And if you let yourself start to believe in the paranormal and it's it's a choice, but I mean if you maybe you were a skeptic and you saw something though, maybe it was not a choice. Maybe it was thrust upon you. But I mean, if you let your mind go there, it just seems the the most ripe for feeling like you're seeing things or feeling things. If if you let your mind, you know, play tricks with you, my mind would go there immediately, right? Because it's just these sad sad tragic stories that were there and and and there have been a lot of them. But I mean, I don't care what it was. It could be an old abandoned factory. It could be, you know, a b Well, oh, you know what? Anybody remember um Oh, what was it called? Amboy. I think it was like the Amboy cinemas. Uh it was on like Route 109 around that area in Amboy. And uh that had turned into um a movie theater. Was that where the old Route One flea market had been maybe? And it and it flipped into a movie theater possibly. But anyway, when that became abandoned, people would go in there all the time. And uh for years they were taking photos. I think they were finally tearing it down. Um but yeah, it was like unrecognizable the photos that were taken. And it was weird because I had walked those halls. I had been in those theaters. What What are you looking at? I'm looking at the old boy cinemas. Yeah. It Yeah. It It looks like no good can come from this. Yeah. Yeah. And a lot of it, And again, I'm saying this, I'm not encouraging anybody to do it because a lot of it can be dangerous. You can have floors give away. You can have rusty pieces of metal. I mean, you know, you got leaking roofs. You've got a lot of rust and contamination and things like that. So, I'm not encouraging it. I'm just wanting to know, did you ever do it? Whether it was to take really cool pictures, whether it was just a oneoff, never did it again. Who's explored some kind of abandoned place? 1 800283101.5. Danielle in Tom's River, you're on New Jersey 101.5. Hi, how are you? Hello, Danielle. What's up? You you did this or you know somebody who did? No, I did growing up. I once I found out what like weird New Jersey was and like this is back like early like n late like late 99 around there when like the computer was like you can do more. I would look up stuff. I would try to Google how to go there. Me and my friends always did that. And the one of the best places we went to was Admiral Farragut in Pine Beach or Bayville. It was like an old boy school. Oh, okay. Do you have any even if you're not totally accurate, it doesn't matter. Do you have any idea how long it had been abandoned when you went? Um, maybe. I don't think it was that long. It seemed like maybe 80s and at the time it probably went around like 2001, 200. Okay, that that'll Yeah, that'll have some decay in just 20 years. And did it have the look that Jeff was describing before where it was just kind of frozen in time and that's the eerie part of it? Yeah, there was some deaths there. Um, there was there was like a lot of decrepit stuff so you had to be really careful. So, and that was the scariest part was like just trying to be careful not to fall through anything. If your friends were getting freaked out, that would freak you out. So, Right. Right. Did Did you Did you Did you find weak spots in floors or stairs that you said, "Nope, nope. Can't go up this way. We're going to cave in." Uh, I didn't. My my friend did. They like, "Don't go that way." Like, okay. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. That's what would that's what would scare me about it. So, that was the coolest one. Now, was it cool because did your imagination run away with you or do you actually think you saw or felt something or No, nothing to do with that for me. Cool. I didn't experience anything at that house. I went somewhere else where it was just like weird uncomfortable vibes. This place I had no problem. It was just cuz it was so big. Yeah. And it was just really nice on the outside. So, you're like, why did this all of a sudden go like bankrupt or whatever? But the place Oh, go ahead, Kylie. Uh Jinx, uh when you say uncomfortable vibes at the other place, that's what I was going to ask. Do you mean like do you mean like a chill? Do you mean you just felt unsettled? Felt like somebody was watching you. Can't really describe it. Yeah. Like so this house was in Jackson called the Jackson house on McCertie Lane. There's actually a song written about it on the computer. So this is like a long time ago. Yeah. So like you kind go in there thinking it's going to be like really worse. And it was like the stereotypical someone's writing spray paint like blood. Do it on enter. There was a piano and it was just you just got like this like like the hair on the back of your neck feeling like what am I like what like kind of like being launched I guess but there is a lot we found like a weird like hiding hole up at the top of this. Yeah, there was a piano in there. I don't like that off. I don't like that one bit. Something about that's unsettling. And Jeff looks confused. Well, but I mean she didn't hear the piano play by itself. She thought it was going to we had Yeah. Right. Right. Like you're waiting for it to happen. Exactly. That's exactly what would get in my mind, Danielle. Um and like the second I'd hear a single sound, I'd be like, "Nope. I'll catch you guys at the bar later. See you." Oh, that would be the reason I would go. It's the weak floor that I wouldn't go for. Oh, abandoned piano bone chilling. That would be wild. Danielle, thank you for calling New Jersey 101.5. What about you? Have you ever gone to one of these creepy abandoned places? Even if something didn't happen, we want to hear your story. 1 800 283101.5 Minsky and uh you know um by the way with the abandoned places that Pompei reference that I made earlier uh an example of it just looking through cuz I went to Lambertville High School. It's now torn down but just looking through the broken gaping windows and kind of like leaning in and looking around the classrooms, right? Mhm. I didn't walk inside, but I was poking my head inside. And in one classroom, literally all the desks had a hardcover textbook, all the same textbook, and they were on the desks and opened all to about the same way as if everybody had just gotten up and fled in the middle of a lesson and never returned. Oh, that is eerie. But I think it's just a bunch of teenagers who went in, found books, and placed them like that to make it look like that. If they did, they duped me. Yeah. Oh. Oh, I always thought that, but it looked cool. All right. Uh, who do you want to take? Let's talk to Ryan. Ryan the Uber driver. Hey guys. Good. Is that Good afternoon. Is that your full name? Is like if we looked at your driver's license, does it say the Uber driver? Pretty pretty much basically that's about it. All right. What's your uh what's your abandoned story? Um I've been doing this since I was a kid growing up in South Florida and and now that I live here. So I go to Aair State Park all the time. Yeah. Across the street from Aair State Park was the Brisbane Children's Hospital. Oh, I've heard of this. Yeah. And it's it's super creepy. It's a huge complex. I apparently the guy was a newspaper guy. He opened up a hospital. Uh the hospital failed. It went into a tuberculosis hospital. I I know I just didn't say that right. That's fine. Uh um and then that didn't work out. They had a lot of problems. Then it went to a a bad kids place like you know juvenile hospital, something like that. Wow. Okay. Long history. You can walk you can walk around the whole campus and it's the gates are deteriorated. The fences are deteriorated. So it's one of the places where you can actually explore without really catching a trespassing charge. You just get chased out if you even get caught. But you can go in and out of the buildings, which is really creepy. They still to this day to to a year ago have running water and some of the buildings still have electricity. What? Yeah, that's weird. I wonder why. Well, there was a fire there a few years back where the main building, which was actually a beautiful house, it was Brisbane's house, burnt down. But uh I've done a lot of exploring of a lot of the buildings. You can go into hospital rooms. There's still records. Obviously, the place has been ransacked by people. Yeah. But the last time I was there, uh I've done it a couple times alone. I like to scare myself. So, it it's great when you go alone, but I went with a friend and we we were in some buildings way in the back and uh we we thought they were funny rooms. Well, they were actually jail cells when you paid attention. Um, you know, they were they were like cells, I guess, for the real bad kid. Did you ever hear anything or see anything weird? Um, you know, I want to because I believe in that. I talk to Bill Spady in the morning all the time. I live with a ghost. That's a whole topic for another show. Oh, wow. But I'm I'm very in touch with that and I wanted to, but no, I can't say I have, but I Okay. Make sure you're listening. Make sure you're listening Halloween week. If we don't do ghost stories, I would be shocked. I want to hear your ghost story for your house. Desperate to hear this, Ryan. Thank you. Thank you for calling New Jersey 101.5. Danny's news is coming up in under 5 minutes on New Jersey 101.5. And then another cash code. Companies rush through installations like ghosts. And New Jersey chime time is 511. It's the Deinsky and More Show. We have another cash code coming up for you in just about 10 minutes. I'm Kylie Moore. and I'm Jeff Deinsky. That could be worth $1,000 to you for an at work payday. And then it all uh cranks back up again. It resumes tomorrow morning with the Bills Spadia Show in the 800 a.m. hour. And later this week, just like last week, Thursday, that prize is going to go to $10,000 that day only. And and you can get yourself some whistling lessons if you The first one was inward. What's that? The first one was inward. That's where I went wrong. Yeah, it was not all the way there. I just I flew too close to the sun, Jeff. Okay, we can all admit it. Yeah, that was that was pretty funny. Um Oh, uh also I want to mention this. Kylie has something up on mj1015.com. You can uh you can look for the details on how to enter these. But whatever your Halloween decorations are, cuz this hour we're going to talk about a controversial one, allegedly controversial in a slightly different light, right? But whatever your Halloween display is on your house, whether you, you know, just have a couple things or you went full Griswald on it, it doesn't matter because this will be a random winner. Okay? So, just for sending in the photo and uh as long as it's your decorations and you took the picture, as long as you own the photo, if you send it in, um we are going to be giving away prizes for that. Um it's going to be a random draw like I said. So, it's not about who's the best display or whatever. Uh but, uh if you if you want to check that out, look for that on nj1015.com. You've already gotten dozens and dozens of them, right? Yes, we've gotten a lot of submissions so far. So, thank you for everyone who has already submitted. But this will be going on until next Friday, the 24th. So if you haven't gotten them in yet, if you're putting up your decorations this weekend, you still have a shot at NJ lottery tickets. There you go. Okay. Now, here's the here's the controversy. Tell us if you think that this is a big deal or not. Um, and maybe you've even put something up worse than this or in poor taste. There is a Halloween display outside of this Richland Township home and it's it's getting attention because it is making a reference to immigration arrests. All right. What they did is they put a skeleton in a sombrero and then they have the wrists zip tied together and then they have a second skeleton beside the clearly Mexican skeleton and it's wearing a black cap and a utility vest and it resembles what Immigration and Customs Enforcement would wear. So ice. So basically, both skeletons are interacting. They have they have a skeleton that's supposed to be an ICE agent arresting a skeleton that's supposed to be a Mexican. And all of these skeletons are loosely tied on ropes. They're swaying in the wind, yada yada yada. Um, do you see anything horrible about this? Because people are posting this. They took pictures and they're posting and um they're saying that this is the type of stuff that my my neighbors do. Are we really stooping to this? And the homeowner says that her husband put up the display because they are full-fledged Republicans and they're fired up about what's going on in this country and a stranger has already entered their property and yelled at the homeowner, yelled at the husband. Um, there are a number apparently of uh of neighbors that are not happy about this. They're thinking it's in poor taste, etc., etc. Is it really? Haven't we seen far more politically incorrect or just poor taste uh lawn displays for Halloween than this? Or do you think that this is bad? Oh, see, I was going to go elsewhere with that. I think we've seen worse displays just for election season, let alone Halloween. At least there's no expletive in this. Whereas how many FB Biden flags did we see? Right. Um I I truly see I truly see both sides on this. I do think it's your home. It's your home. You can put up what you want if you so choose. But I also would never do this. And I think it's problematic. Uh that's just not the point of Halloween. The point of Halloween is not supposed to be encouraging ice. It's not supposed to be saying that you're anti-immigrant. The point of Halloween now. It's just kids could get kids can dress up and get candy or adults can dress up and get drunk. I don't know if we need to bring politics into it. But people bring current events into Halloween costumes all the time. Just costumes alone. So why can't they bring it into lawn displays if they wanted to? I mean, if if if a couple wanted to go or two buddies wanted to go as um as an immigrant detainee and the other one as an ICE agent, would that be awful or is it different if it's a costume? I would also roll my eyes at that. No. Would you? Yeah. I don't know. Well, I mean, I feel like I feel like Halloween decorations or even Halloween costumes, I feel like there's usually something that's kind of not supposed to be, not all the time, but often enough kind of uh poor taste, but I feel like it's almost what Halloween is in some senses. But I feel like the poor taste is that like a college student is dressing up as [ __ ] Spongebob. I don't think it needs to be, "Haha, isn't it funny that people are trying to find refuge here and they are getting arrested and deported?" Yeah. I don't know. I feel like Okay. Do you think anything should happen to this person for putting it up? Absolutely not. Okay. Well, well, in that way, we totally agree then. Yeah. I mean, because I was going to ask, um, this family is being given a hard time because they've got this Mexican skeleton being arrested by an ICE agent skeleton as their lawn decorations, or at least as part of their lawn decorations. Is this too offensive or is this a case of your house, your rules, do whatever you want to do with it? 1 800283101.5. We're going to get to your calls, but right now we have fast traffic. Right now, an alarming number of people in New 5:24 with Jeff Deinsky and Kylie Moore. Danny Dresenzo's news coming up momentarily. Right now, it's making news about this Halloween display in front of someone's yard that it's portraying a Mexican skeleton being arrested by an ice skeleton as Halloween decorations. Do you find that offensive? Do you think that this has no place in Halloween decorations? Or do you think, hey, this is their house. They can do what they want. their house, their rules. Their house, their rules, they could do what they want. I don't care what they put on their lawn. If people are putting every I mean, I think you said it best. If people are putting at elections, you know, all these f this candidate and f you for voting for him, I mean, this is and I know you said this, this is almost mild. Um, but honestly, I I I if I were a Mexican person, maybe I'm going to be offended by it, but there are so many other offensive things at Halloween. I mean, if you want to get really kind of crazy about it, it's like, oh, well, look how they're dispar disparaging nurses by making this uh killer nurse zombie cutting off a kid's head. It's like, well, all right, but it it's supposed to be gory. I don't find Halloween politically correct to begin with. But this isn't gory. This is anti-immigrant in my opinion. They're skeletons. Some would say skeletons are gory, right? There's not blood. Is that technically gore? Nothing's hanging off. Skeletal remains pretty gory. Yeah. Okay. Okay. What if they had some gory meat hanging on them? Would that be then okay? I think no. I think then that would be gory. But I'm saying same thing, Mexican sombrero, but you know, bloody meat hanging on it. Yeah, but I mean nothing at Halloween is necessary. I don't know. I'm not that bothered by this. Honestly, I would probably just, you know, am I am I going to hell to say if I was driving by? Yeah, I wouldn't put up put it up either, but I might just like chuckle for a second. I might chuckle. I know what they're trying to do. I know what they're trying to say. I wouldn't. But me, not to get too woke, but is that our white privilege talking? I don't know. I don't know. I mean I mean I'm well aware of the problem. I'm well well aware of my whole life of the problem of illegal immigration. I know. But it's not going to change it's not going to make or break any uh policy by sticking a sombrero on a skeleton. I don't know. I think we're all just think we all need to calm down a little bit. But what do you guys say? 1 800283101.5. Nick and Highland here on New Jersey 101 1.5. Jeff, for once in my life, I absolutely agree with you. You literally just said everything I was trying to say. Well, no, you said Yeah. You You say it anyway. Say it in your own words. You know what I mean? Like honestly, like who cares? Like it's a Halloween decoration. Like people are offended over somebody dressing up. And I was I was also going to say like what about the people who dress up like a [ __ ] cop or you know who car who cares honestly? Like there's why why why are we so worried about somebody's depiction of an illegal immigrant and ICE instead of actually worrying about the illegal immigrant and ICE? Like who cares? Well, and you know what else, Nick? And I'm not saying I mean the wife of the guy who put it up already spoke out about it, but so so I'm not trying to say that this was the case, but imagine the same exact thing in another person's yard who was say maybe a Democrat, not a Republican, right? How do we know what they're really trying to say? Maybe they're trying to say ICE is evil for doing this to the Mexican. You know what? You know, you know, you know what the worst part is? is we can't walk up to the skeletons and and ask them what they're doing. So, can't ask them how they identify. Literally the it's it's literally a Spanish depicted skeleton coming over a fence with two ICE agents. Now, are the ICE agents stopping them or are they already here? Which which which way is that? Are they going into the guy's property? Are they coming out of the guy's property? Is it real like what is it really depicting? ICE agents and Mexicans are okay. Like what do you Well, I think it's only I think it's only one ICE agent, not two. And I didn't see any pictures of this. Are they actually coming? I don't think they're coming over a fence. Are they? No, there's there's there I see I've seen the video. There there's three of them and they're it's it's a story out of Alabama and there's three of This is a different one though. Alabama. This is happening across the nation. Yeah. Yeah. This is a different one. This one's in the New Jersey area. It's Bucks County. Uh, I was thinking it was New Jersey, but there's two different Richmond Townships. But I mean, it's our listening area. Bucks County. Yeah, I didn't realize this was so widespread, but I guess this is the trend. So, apparently 2025, right? Apparently, this is a common lawn decoration this year. Nick, thanks for informing us and thank you for calling New Jersey on a 1.5. Okay. Is it again, I'm not saying it? Could you take offense at it? Yeah. But do we have to stop short every time somebody might be offended by something? I mean, all right. Uh, they're going to make uh, do you remember the movie Seven? Of course. Where a gluttony, the big fat person had to eat until he died. All right. What if they did a lawn display of the gluttony thing from Seven? And, you know, is every person of size like, am I like, do I have a right to then drive down the street and say, "Well, you know, I'm really overweight. This is This is offensive to me. Screw me. Who cares what I think? It's their art. It's their property. That would just be a a that would be a legitimately scary lawn display, actually. John on Route 33, you're a New Jersey 101.5. Hey, John. Good afternoon. Hi, John. Hi. Hi. So, it doesn't have anything provocative in nature. Whereas if a little kid sees it, all he's going to see is one skeleton being chased by two skeletons or one skeleton being arrested by another skeleton that may be wearing a hat or whatever. And they're not going to know really the difference in it. So they're just going to see, you know, skeleton bad guy and skeleton police and it's nothing provocative, which would most certainly raise a lot of questions. And you know, a lot of the parades and stuff that go around for Halloween, you cannot bring a little kid to to those parades because people are wearing next to nothing. You know, that's actually a really good point. I don't think mo I can't speak for all kids, but I'm going to say most kids aren't going to go around asking like, "Mommy, daddy, what are the political implications of this Halloween display, right? They're not. They're not. And again, and I'm telling you, a different family could look at it in the other way. They could be looking at the ICE agent as the bad guy because many people are, you know, so I think it's like I think it's like in, you know, offenses in the eye of the beholder in this case." Great point, John. Thank you for calling in. We appreciate it. All right. So, there's a family being given a hard time because they have a Mexican skeleton designated by a sombrero and an ice skeleton designated by the black hat and the black vest as Halloween decorations. Too offensive or their house, their rules. 1800283 101.5. New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. Love their store. I know. She tries to sleep there and they have to throw her out. Please stop sleeping near the Christmas trees. She's like, "We know you like the lights display. We know you like it." She's like Buddy in the movie Elf that time of year. She's All right. So, our phone number is 1800 283101.5. This story um I don't know. Is this that offensive? There are people in a neighborhood where there are part of the lawn decorations for Halloween. Just part. It involves two skeletons. One skeleton is dressed up like like like an ICE agent arresting illegal immigrants and the other being arrested skeleton has a sombrero on its skull to indicate right and there are people that are saying this is awful. One person just like walked right up trespassed on the lawn yelling at the homeowner for doing this. This is disgusting. Is it offensive or is this like a your house your rules thing? 1 800283101.5 calling in from Burlington. Connie, hi. You're on New Jersey 101.5. Hi. Um, I just wanted to comment. I do think it's disgusting. I do think it's white privilege speaking. Um, I do think that the giggle comment that that's what made me call in. I was going to ignore it, but I think to giggle at something so offensive, that's just disgusting and that's what's being taught. Um, because Halloween is mostly about children. So, walking up and seeing that going trick-or-treating, that's offensive. Kids don't need to be involved in that. Your political opinion is your political opinion. However, for Halloween, it's for one day. We all know what it's for. Trick-or-treating. I just think it's disgusting. And I think anybody that thinks it's just your house, your rule, you're you have the same mindset of the homeowner. Um, and I just I just think it's offensive. I think it's offensive. I think it is white privilege speaking because you're unaware of to everybody else's problems because these are not your problems. Um, do you think that I have to say? Well, you're Okay. Well, now you're coming at me like you know all about me and you absolutely don't. I you don't know about me either. I just think that's what you're I didn't say I did on air time. Here's the difference between us. I didn't say I know you either. I'm not Yeah. No, you did. No, you did. And I'm not going to get into a stupid shouting match. I did not presume I did not presume to tell to tell you what I think you think. I But you did me. I and when it comes to call and tell what happened. Okay. You want to just talk over me? Do Do you want to drive down here? Do an hour? I don't care about driving to you. This is what I'm saying. You're so angry at my opinion. The No, I'm not. No, I'm No, I'm not. I'm angry because you're obnoxiously talking over top of me instead of letting me try to talk to you. You interrupted me. You interrupted me. I did not interrupt you. This is a white privilege. You did. Anyway, that's all that I had to say. I hope you guys have an amazing day. I don't know what your race is. I don't care what your race is. I don't give a crap what your race is. You could call it white privilege all you want. I uh I do not agree with a homeowner. I already said I would not put up such a thing. I always thought and I have been on record with this so many times, Connie. Not that I owe you an explanation, but I have been on record on this radio show so many times that I think it is a shame that has come to these mass deportations. I think uh that we should have found a path to citizenship. I've talked about it many, many times. So, you can bark behind your fence all you want about my white privilege, but I don't think like that homeowner. No. But thank you for calling in. We appreciate it, Connie. And and and if I giggle at a thing, you know what else I giggle at? Even though I completely disagree with it, when some idiot put those stupid signs, F Biden and F you for voting for him, just because I might giggle at a thing, it's more giggling at the stupidity of it all, but I wouldn't put up that sombrero skeleton. But if he wants to, he's got every right to do it. That's my point. Thanks for checking in. Oh, it's also just because you brought up the F whatever political candidate and I brought it up first saying F Biden. Someone's trying to get me with a a gotcha on Well, what about the F Trump signs, Kylie? Yeah. I also don't think those should be up. No, they shouldn't. I don't think kids should see that. Right. Right. I don't think anyone should see that. I think it's I don't think you should make that your whole personality. Right. But but people do this. I just would never do it. And that's fine. And and and guess what? And I wouldn't do these things either. But I but I also think that we have given being offended far too much power. I mean, we are supposed to live in a country where you can speak your mind and, you know, not throw Jimmy Kimmel off the air. Okay. They should make some sort of amendment about that. Make it first, actually. Yeah. Really? So, so, right. Come at me all you will, whatever. But no, I don't agree with any of that. And uh and in fact, I'm really disgusted when ICE has gotten it wrong so many times and thrown people out of the country who didn't even deserve to be thrown out of the country. But oh yeah, drone on about my white privilege, please. Gail in Bayville, you're on New Jersey 101.5. Gail, you have to have your radio off or we're going to hang up because we're hearing us back. We don't want to listen to us. All right, let's go to Chance and Colt's neck. No screen. No, no, he's not screened. Okay. Yeah, you cannot have your radios on when you're calling in because we're on like a 12 15 second delay and then it's taken forever to even get to that. Let's go to Steve in South Planefield. Steve, you're on New Jersey 101.5. Hey, how you doing? Hey Steve, we're good. So, I think like you know like there's like two sides to the coin, right? Like, yeah, it's your house, your rules. You could put up the decoration, but you could also be like somebody walking by and see that and be like, "Oh, that's trashy, right?" You know what I mean? Like, I mean, I guess that's just the American way. Like, you know, like I I wouldn't trick or treat there. Like, and like if you're driving by and you laugh at something like I I know I laugh at stuff I shouldn't laugh at sometime and I know I'm going to hell for it if Yeah. Well, see, that's what I'm saying. And it doesn't mean I agree with it. It just means like, "Oh, gez, look what somebody did." That's all I meant by that. Yeah. No, I like if I had kids, I wouldn't bring them trick-or-treating there. Like, and you know, I want to say one more thing, too. You know, like they you know, they got like the ice like skeleton like arresting the ice Mexican on the lawn. I bet those folks don't mow their own lawn. You know what? I But you know, we don't know that. Yeah, we we can't assume, but I think that is a very fair point to bring up. It would be hysterical if that were the case. We all know where you're going with that. And that would be a very very funny and ironic thing, would it not? And to your point, Steve, because I think we're pretty much on almost exactly the same page about this. I also wouldn't blame any person of color or anyone uh any any immigrant. We'll just say I mean any immigrant. I would not blame them for not going to that house. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Which would be personally I think it's trashy. Oh yeah. Yeah. No, I I mean I do too. But again, I think a lot of things at Halloween time are trashy. I remember and I'm not trying to insult anybody. Uh but I found this funny in how brazen and shocking it was. I also laughed at this, but I would not have worn it. I was at a Halloween party one time and a guy was dressed as a Catholic priest with the gown and everything, right? He was dressed like a bishop or whatever, but he was dressed Yeah. I think it was like a higher up in the church, not just a priest. And I'm looking like, well, that's an interesting costume. And I look down and it was so subtle. Had two little boys shoes. Oh. Aimed at him, not away from him, hiding under his, you know. Oh my gown. Yes. I Jeff, I got it. I got the picture. He was making a statement. Little crude, but that's what I'm saying. Much of Halloween is like this. 1800 283101.5. A law firm knows that owing the IRS can 553. Jeff and Kylie here. Danny Dresenzo's news in about 7 minutes. Super fast. Rancho Cucamonga, California. Uh couple uh had complaints about them that their Halloween lawn display was racist and politically insensitive. It featured a black looking skeleton hanging on an American flag pole and a neighbor complained that the skeleton appeared to be painted black and was hanging from a noose by the neck. But here's what happened. They go and they talk to the homeowner. His exact words, "Oh my gosh, no. I would never. We will have that taken down right away." It turns out it was it was manufactured that way. He did not paint a thing. There was no noose. He used a zip tie to simply hang a skeleton on his phone pole. There was no noose. There was nothing making it look like a noose. There's a picture of it. There's never a noose. Oh. And Right. And and this guy got all upset because he never meant to offend anybody. And it literally was sold in that color. He meant nothing by it. And this is the world we're living in. Yeah. That's a big old whoopsie. Yeah. There was no noose, but this is where we are. Chance and cold snack. You're on New Jersey. 101.5. Hey guys, how you doing tonight? Chance, what's up? All is well. Um, I just had to comment. I mean, you didn't talk to the homeowner of this place, but um maybe this homeowner is an illegal alien. They're not. They're not. You missed that part of the hour. I was quoting published news reports and the homeowner the Well, okay, you go ahead. No, you go ahead. the the homeowner said that they are full-fledged Republicans and that he was fired up about what's going on in the country. So, they're not illegal immigrants. Okay. But even so, it could be perceived as that um it's a Halloween decoration and this is something that's scary to somebody and therefore they're going to make a scene of it to show the ICE agent arresting the the illegal person because that's scary. And you know what, and I think you're absolutely right, Chance. I appreciate you saying this because I was mentioning this before. You could perceive that the other way around that the ICE agent could be perceived as the bad guy here. Yeah, it's all in the perception. I think you're right. Uh it just it's just a mess. And you know what? We have a few more weeks to deal with it. Chance, thank you for calling New Jersey 101.5. Hey, this is Jeff Deinsky. You want a roof that doesn't New Jersey chime time. It is 611. It's a Monday evening and we are Dinsky and more. I'm Jeff Daminsky. I'm Kylie Moore. Kylie has an opportunity for you to possibly win some big money by winning a big stack of lottery tickets. Uh, all you got to do is submit a photograph of your Halloween display after last hour. Hopefully, it won't be that. We might not run that display. Uh, but uh, yeah, you could win a prize. And it's not as far as like, you know, oh, what's the best Halloween display or it's that it's a random drawing and all you got to do is uh look for the story on nj1015.com or you'll find it, I guess, on the New Jersey 101.5 app. You'll find it. Just got look. Got look. You'll find it. You figure it out. Yeah, you'll figure it out. Right. And she's already gotten a dozens of uh when when do we get to see them? Are you putting some up as as you go or I will be putting some up um uh maybe that will go up tomorrow. Oh, maybe that's what I'll write tonight. I know. Resizing them is a bear. Yeah, I spent the better part of my Saturday doing that. Resize. Resize number 174. It needs to be this many pixels by this many pixels or Sergio will whip me in our digital department. People don't know what what goes into it, man. Uh anyway, but that's one of the fun things. Another fun thing is uh today all day has been an $1,000 at work payday. We're done with the codes, but they resume again tomorrow with Bill Spadia in the 8 a.m. hour. And on Thursday, the at work payday goes to $10,000. So, make sure that you were listening on Thursday. Huge. Yeah. Huge. Huge. So, um Oh boy. I have a story that is up on nj1015.com uh in front of me. It was written by Dan Alexander and it has to do with some creep who is doing a bad thing. And before I even get into the story, I just want to ask cuz I Let's hope these stories aren't Let's hope these stories that we could maybe get are accidents and not creepy stories, but it's about unexpected surprise nudity. Okay. like um you thought Gunnison Beach was just another beach and you walked up there or your roommate didn't realize you were home and just got out of the shower right in front of you. Or you walked in on your grandma. Oh god. In the bedroom, all 92 years of her stark butt naked. Things like that. when you're not expecting to see nudity and yet you see it. Nobody wanted it to happen but you see it right. Mhm. Types of nudity focus on the grandma thing might be might be hard to unsee like that sort of thing like oh I could tell you a story about a tempress with my dad when he was uh delivering chicken delight of all things. Temptress. I did not wake up this morning thinking I would hear the word temptress. Do you want to hear this before I tell you the creep? Yes. Cuz this is not a You don't bring up the word tempress and then be me be like, I can wait a few minutes. All right. You need the tempress story. My dad is working part-time after his mailman job. This is decades ago, right? I'm I I don't even know if I was around yet or not, but he's married. My dad's married, but he was a young young guy. And uh so he's working part-time delivering Chicken Delight. the place was called, right? And he gets a call to deliver to a hotel room in the town. So he does, it's like actually a motel. The doors open to the parking lot and he knocks on the door and this gorgeous woman opens the door and she's wearing just a towel, like fresh out of the shower. She has wet hair, right? Strawberry blonde, I believe, is how he described her. He didn't tell me this until I was older. What? Just the fact that he told you any of this. Oh, he told me all of it. Yeah. But so she says, "Oh, yeah. Uh, come on in. You can put it down here." So he's like, "Hm, okay." So he walks halfway across the room to the little round table and he puts the check-in light dinner down and she purposely dropped her towel. Oh. And then she says, "There's a can of like Pepsi or something there." And she says, "This is true story. At least he tells me to." And she says, "Could you uh help me open this?" And she dropped the towel. [Music] Now, if I'm him, I'm thinking there's going to be a thug in the bathroom cuz this doesn't happen. I'm about to get murdered, mugged, because this doesn't happen. Mhm. And I asked him that. He said, "Bathroom door was open. There was nobody there." It's like, "What?" She just dropped her towel. And he because he was married said, "Nah, I'm sorry. I got to go." A noble man. He walked out. He walked right out, man. She dropped the towel in front of him and kind of in a flirty way said, "Uh, you think you could help me open this over here?" He wouldn't do it. He walked out. He walked away. Why do I feel like you're telling this like the characters in Seinfeld? She dropped the towel. The towel was dropped. Don't leave me hanging, Jerry. Don't leave me hanging. Something was hanging. Right. But she did. And I mean I mean it was like something out of some bad 70s porn film or something like The Delivery Boy showing up, you know. And by the way, you know what I read recently I think is very very true about pornography. Pornography gives young Hold on. Next. He said, she said. Go on. Something I read recently about pornography. Pornography gives young boys a very very inaccurate view of how fast a pizza gets delivered. That was the main takeaway. Yeah, that was the takeaway. Um anyway, that was unexpected nudity. That is an example of unexpected nudity. It could be you came upon somebody skinny dipping. That would be unexpected nudity. But in this case, some creep has been leaving photos, polaroids, mind you. Polaroids, who does Polaroids, of a certain part of himself, okay, at full attention. Oh, on women's windshields. I'll fill you I'll fill you in with the rest of it, but you could read the whole story. There are parts I probably won't say. So, you can read the whole story. Dan Alexander has it on nj1015.com. But yeah, that's that's awful. But what about like just walking in on somebody? It happens, you know. Or a woman loses a top coming out of the ocean. It happens. You're not trying to see it. But well, hey, hello. There it is. Now that you say that, it's got to happen at water parks. Oh, it's probably happening all the time at water parks. Unexpected nudity is probably always happening at water parks. Bikinis on a water slide. Oh, playing with fire. Yeah, forget about it. All right. So, we want to hear your surprise nudity stories. Did you ever, you know, encounter nudity when you were not expecting to? 1800 283 or or were you the victim of it? 1800 283101.5 coming up on 619. Here's Fast Track. Scary good savings this 624. So, yeah. Uh, we want to hear your stories about a surprise, a chance encounter with nudity. Uh, did uh did anybody ever uh accident by accident like did anybody ever see you naked or did you ever accidentally see somebody else naked? Arbor vites and all right there. Yeah. Oh boy. 1 800283101.5. Talk about hanging baskets. Am I right? Yeah. Yeah. Amy in Breakon, New Jersey 101.5. Hi guys. How are you? Hey Amy, we're good. Hey Amy, what's up? I I am the nude. I am the nude one. I was sharing an apartment with my brother when we were in our late 20s, early 30s in Belmar and I went out and had too many cosmos with my girlfriend. When I came home, I must have gotten sick, but I crawled my way naked into the hallway and he came home from the bar and found me in the hallway. He said he wanted to stab his eyes out. Okay, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Before you go, wait before you go. In the hallway outside the apartment or in the hallway inside the apartment? Inside the apartment outside. So, like the hallway outside of the bathroom. Yes. Yes. I gotcha. So, you're So, you're you're you're both full grown and your brother sees you naked, which is just neither one of you wanted this to ever happen. Um, we're in our 50s now and he still tells me he's traumatized that he wanted to poke his eyes out. What did he And you did you did you start to say that he grabbed the blanket or something? Oh, no. He said he No, he opened uh the closet and he threw a towel over me and left me there. Oh, because you were passed out drunk. Yes. Why not a blanket? He just wanted to make it as fast as possible. Yes. Yes. He needed to cover it up as quickly as possible. Were you Do you know were you lying face down or face up? Oh, important question. I thankfully I was face down. Thank goodness cuz that's what I was picturing. Not that I'm picturing you, Amy. There's no good up or down. Neither way is good because you're seeing things. Hard disagree. A tush is a tush. I beg to differ. I agree. A tush is a tush. Oh, okay. Yeah. All right, ladies. Whatever you guys say. I would male or woman, I would much prefer to see tush over any any front. Yeah. No kibbles and bets. Thank you. Over anything that might rhyme with tush. Maybe this is a male female thing. All right. Okay. Amy, love the story. Thank you so much for calling New Jersey 101.5. Okay. So, listen. Our phone number is 1 800283101.5. Did it ever happen? You were not expecting to. Nobody wanted it to happen, but maybe alcohol was involved, maybe not. But did you ever accidentally say like walk in on somebody, accidentally saw them in the nude or were you the one who was seen in the nude? 1 800283 101.5. Now, this story I was starting to get into um you could read all the details, but this happened in Randolph and there was a certain which is in Morris County there and so there's this certain restaurant there, right? And um this woman leaves the restaurant, goes to her car and she finds uh let's just say a graphic note handwritten and finds a it's described as a Polaroid. They still even exist. Uh, they do. Hipsters like to use them. Wow. But a Polaroid photo of um of a part of the creep where you could not identify him in most lineups. Understood. And a part that was um in full business mode, let's say. Okay. It was ready to go, right? And that is basically left on this woman's car. And here's the really creepy part. This creep described what she was wearing right then. So, he had been watching her. Totally disturbing. She goes, she goes back inside. She was like, "This is not okay. You guys got to be aware of this. You got to warn other people." And at first, not the owner, cuz the owner is very upset about this, but somebody who apparently didn't know how to handle this. They said it's probably fine and the story says they offered her a free drink or dessert. It's like no no no. That does not undo. No, no, no, no, no. This is not free. This is not about a free dessert. Can you imagine? So, long story short, it turns out that other people in that area have been experiencing the same thing. And the owner is now saying he's putting cameras in the parking lot because he's very upset about it, which I don't blame him one bit. Uh but yeah, there's some sort of creepoid. Uh you know, now I mean now now that's criminal. That's not just like walking in on somebody. That's a that's kind of different. But yeah. Right. All right. So we want to know at 1800283101.5. Have you ever had some incident where you didn't mean to see somebody in the nude, but you did or you were the person seen? 1800 283 101.5. I'm very scared where this is going, but Danny, please tell me you were not the one who was I was not the nude one. Okay. I was 15. I was a pool lifeguard and these two young 20something women get into the pool. They are very drunk. Apparently, they just passed their nursing exam and they just started stripping right in front of me. What? I was 15 years old. It was the first time I've ever seen that. That Yes. Okay. Now, um were what? Anybody else around? Oh, yeah. Everyone, kids, everything. It was a public pool. Yeah. Wait, wait, wait. So, light of day. Yeah, light of day. So, I did the only responsible thing I could have done, which was I kicked them out. Danny, did you have to grab them to kick them out? I just said, "You can't be doing that here. You have to go." And they surprisingly listened to a 15-year-old kid. Uh, was it just the bikini tops that came off? Yeah, just the bikini cut tops. Yeah. Okay. But not other things, not the bottoms. No, they were just they were just really letting they were let letting letting themselves breathe. Wow. Wow. The perfect way that this could go full circle is that if you like well not perfect. I don't want I don't want you to go to the hospital, but if someday one of those nurses had to treat you like I've seen that face before. I've seen more than that face before. That's awesome. 15. I was 15. Yeah, man. That's uh Luckily, I've suffered no psychological repercussions from that incident. But it is very funny to picture because being 15, I picture you didn't have the authoritative voice that you have now. So it's like actually my voice has been relatively the same. I if you saw me at 15, I have a picture of me lifeguarding that pool. I look basically exactly the same. Oh, no kidding. So I had the deeper just a little more. Yeah. Not not quite as deep, but it was it was more like this. Like it was very had like a teenage l to it. You can't be taking the top. No, but I wasn't like this. I wasn't like that. No. No. It was most guys. Can you put those away? I was a very early bloomer. So, I was I was pretty much puberty was like, "All right, you're done. 14. No more work required on you." Danny, thank you. All right, so we want to know things you shouldn't have seen, but you saw them. We're talking about surprise encounters with unexpected nudity. 1800 283101.5. Walsh was made for people. Right now, it is 6:38 on New Jersey 101.5. And we're talking about accidental nudity. It could be something you've seen. It could be something um let's just say that was your own that someone else saw. Yeah. 1800 283101.5. It could be a wardrobe failure. You walked in on Grandpa. I mean, whatever. Uh let's see. Oh god. Worse if it's family. Oh, I'm sure. Uh Dan in Manchester is calling in. Hey Dan. Hey Jeff. Hey Kylie. How are you? Hey Dan. We're good. You're fully clothed right now, right? Please. Uh I think so. Okay. Good, good, good. That's what all the screeners have to ask before someone goes on the air. Yeah. Like no speaker phone, Bluetooth. Are you fully clothed? Yep. Yep. Yep. It's a new policy. All right. So, what's uh so what's your story? Were you the nude one or uh were you the victim? I was the uh the witness, the victim. I have to say unlike uh Danny D, I still 14 years later am suff suffering psychological repercussions. What happened? I I think Danny's suffering memories, but anyway. So, Oh, yeah. Yeah. What was what was yours? So, we'll take it back 14 years ago, my 21st birthday. I'm at uh Caesar's Resort in Atlantic City uh with a couple buddies for the weekend and taking advantage of like the free uh spa package, the spa, the sauna, all that good stuff. Yeah. So me and my buddy Rob are over there and we're, you know, we're making our rounds through the sauna and the steam room and then we get over to the hot tub and we get in and we're chatting with two other older gentlemen for a little bit, you know, just having a general conversation. Eventually, one guy gets up, heads out, sitting there talking for a little longer with the other guy, and eventually he gets ready to head out and uh he just stands up and walks right out of the hot tub and twig and giggleberries and all and He had no like our like our eyes were ready to pop right out of our head. Oh my god. He thought it was Wow. What? Yeah. How what how did that happen? He I guess he just thought that that was okay to get in nude and not wear a bathing suit. I guess I didn't look to see if like he had his bathing shorts like hung up on a rack or something. I he you know he was in there before me so I don't know how he came in but and he got out like this was nothing. He got out like everybody does this. Oh yeah. You know, he tried to shake your hands out. Nice talking with you guys. Have a good day. No, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. He stood up and then tried to shake your hands like like was he already exposed when he was trying to shake a hand? No. No. So stood up, shook our hands, then proceeded to climb the steps out of the hot tub. And I got you. And that's when And that's when uh the incident was seen. I'm still working through and 14 years later has not been unseen. I'm still working through Giggleberries. Is that an original, Dan, or is that something that I've just not been privy to? No, I think I stole it from somebody. I love it. I mean, I don't I I don't love it for you, but I might be stealing that. Go for it by all means. I can beat that, Dan. I can beat that. Oh my. Go ahead. This just turned into the Indianapolis scene in Jaws. I got that beat. I got that beat. I got that beat. Remember when Kylie said it's worse if it's family? Agreed. Yeah. Imagine being uh imagine being about 16 years old and and you don't know what's about to happen and uh your own dad walks out of the bathroom just stark ass naked and you see everything. Oh god. Your own dad. Yep. Would it have been worse if it were your mother? This is a question for the room. I also saw my mother naked. Oh my god. I saw I saw them both naked. Okay, so which is worse? My mother doesn't know. 4951 on that one. That's a toss up. Yeah, I don't I don't know which is No, I I do know which is worse. I'd be more fine with my mother. Uh Dan, thank you. I'm sorry we put you through this. called New Jersey 101.5, but I mean it's Yeah, I'm sorry, but it's worse when it's your own father. And also, um, you know that procedure that they do to many babies when they're a couple days old, you know? Yes. Right. And you know how some people don't have that snip snip procedure? Yeah. My dad did not have that snip snip procedure. This is more than I ever wanted to know about your father. It looked like Godzilla. It was like a It was like one of those black and white horror monster movies back in the day. I had never seen that and I don't want to. Yeah, there's my dad. It's like what the hell? And he knew I was home. It's like are It's like what are you doing just walking out like that? I didn't say anything cuz like like what am I going to do? I was 16. You said nothing. Not even like a Oh, I said nothing. I just like turned. I I like turned super fast, but it was like I guess he thought he could make it from the bathroom into his bedroom that I wouldn't be standing right there. But you don't take a chance like that, man. Throw a towel around yourself. You You at least do a little peekaboo. Like you look outside like, "Oh, cool. No one's there." Right. And he didn't. And he didn't even go, "Oh, sorry. Nothing." Just like sauntered. He practically sauntered. It's like, "Don't give me a saunter when you're He wanted you to see." No, I don't. I hope not. No. No. Oh, that man. My mom she was asleep. That pales in comparison to what I have I My mom's bedroom my mom's bedroom door is open and I don't know what the hell had happened but uh uh yeah, she was asleep and I came home and uh I just like walked by the bedroom door and uh there's mom totally snoozing. Totally. I was like, "Oh my god." And I just Yeah. Very upsetting. I just realized it's dinner time. Very upsetting. All right. So, uh, we're talking about, um, Oh, did I ever tell about the time my friend John met my father and he was totally naked? John, are you You know what? Don't tell me. Don't say All right. We're talking about surprise encounters with nudity. Who's got any of these beat? 1800 283 101. Hi, Lee. So, we're talking about Boore New Jersey 101.5. We've uh just been swapping stories about accidental nudity. Did you ever come across somebody nude you did not mean to and bam, they're coming out of the shower. Holy cow, didn't know you were home. Or maybe you were the nude one. 1800283101.5. All right. So, um same guy, my dad. Um still no snip snip about three years later, right? And so it's uh I hope I hope someone just tuned in to hear Stallow snips. He he come he he comes out he comes Okay. My my very first radio job was in a small small market in uh in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, right? U small market stuff. And um guy that I went to broadcast school with uh he and I started out together at the same radio station. Uh, and so we were splitting the rent, right? So we just we just like boozed it up every night. I mean, there was nothing to do. It was a small town, you know? We just drank Ham's beer every night and, you know, just just had a good time. Sure. Right. And so um, and so my dad came out. It's like 5 hours away. So he came out for like two days to see me. So my friend John, he knew he was coming. We all like we all knew this, but my dad didn't realize because I was at the station. John was at the station, but my dad didn't realize that John was going to stop home for a while. Oh. So, my dad, he thinks he's all alone in this apartment. And I mean, and he was. So, um I don't know if my dad always did this, but um He he was sitting on the toilet and maybe he just always liked to do it naked. I don't know. Oh, certainly not going to ever ask him, you know, but he's totally naked. He's sitting on the toilet. Also, my dad wore dentures at this point in his life. His dentures were not in his mouth. So, my toothless dad is sitting naked on the toilet bowl. He also made the mistake of leaving the bathroom door wide open. The bathroom door is a good six feet away and so you can't just lean over and swipe the door. You'd have to stand up and he couldn't. This is all around a nightmare scenario. The Oh. Oh, it was the perfect storm of of of of disgustingness. And so John having no idea what he's in for, he hits the apartment door, he opens it up, he walks in, and 3 seconds later he's passing that door. They have not met each other yet. This was This trip was going to be when I was going to introduce John, my roommate, to my dad. This is how they met. Never spoke a word to each other. My dad is toothless, naked on the bowl. John is in the living room, shocked, looking through the door, and my father, I swear to God, toothless. He goes, "Hey, you you must be done. John ner an apology. No. He goes, "Hey, you must be John." With like, you know, how you sound with no teeth. John just goes, "H uh don't get up." This is how they met. I kid you not. That's uh that's what we in the industry call a meat cute, but not that kind of meat. All right. So that that's it. I'm out of here. And on that note, we'll be back with you guys tomorrow between 2 and 7. Right now, it's going to be Steve Trevoliss after Danny Dresenzo's news on New Jersey 101.5.
